The Freshman (w/Matthew Broderick and Marlon Brando -- its hilarous)

How to Make an American Quilt (lots of older female stars in this one, a great chick flick)

Sense & Sensibility (another great chick flick, plus it has my hearthrob Alan Rickman in it)

Swingers

Slingblade

Home for the Holidays

Office Space

Stuart Saves his Family

This is Spinal Tap (or any Chris Guest movie)

Strictly Ballroom

Manhattan Murder Mystery

Truly Madly Deeply (another one with Alan Rickman in it)

(this is just my short list. I'm on a conference call so I'd probably do better to listen to what my colleagues are saying than chat with you guys about movies -- even though movies are WAY more fun! )

WOW--two others of my absolute favs--Office Space is on Comedy Central all the time--and I always have to watch (even though we own it on DVD)

I really love "Frisco Kid" with Gene Wilder and Harrison Ford.

I also like "Warning Signs" and even though it is so cheesy, and really a bad movie, I also like "Attack of the Killer Tomotoes"

Ok, I have to admit, this is the first one I haven't heard of.

The Big Blue is another great one; FYI, it was written and directed by the same guy who did The Professional, Luc Besson. He also wrote and directed The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis, and La Femme Nikita, which he then redid as Point of no Return with Bridget Fonda.

I a big fan of all his work, everything he does is great.

I also love Frequency, that's a good one!

My absolute fav is "That Thing You Do" with Tom Hanks (he produced, also), Liv Tyler, Steve Zahn, Charlize Theron, and Giovanni Ribisi to name a few. Great movie!
