What's your favorite beer?

Peak Organic Summer Session & Peak Organic Fall Summit. I also love draft IPA with fresh blueberries. Lots of local breweries do this.

So I guess there's no accounting for personal taste.

Personally, I like all kinds of beer from PBR to triple IPA. I don't consider any beer to be good or bad based on the style. A hoppy beer can be drinkable, while a mild lager can taste horrible. Once I had some San Miguel form the Phillipines, which had this horrible off flavor to it. Since it was a lager, there weren't stronger flavors to mask whatever the heck was wrong with it. I've had some hop bombs that were great, along with some that gave me bitter beer face.

I guess Corona is an interesting beer. It's extremely mild - almost devoid of flavor on its own where lemon or lime is needed to give it any semblance of flavor. It sells for a small premium in the US. It's in a clear bottle, which is probably the worst choice to keep beer from going bad, but they got complaints when they went to a colored bottle. I guess the canned version is doing pretty well now. It's the #1 selling beer in Mexico - pretty much because it's cheap and consistent - almost the PBR of Mexico. I asked someone why it's so popular, and the answer was that it's handed out almost like water at many all-inclusive Mexican resorts. It's easy to drink and few people find it offensive. However, it's really selling a lifestyle. Nothing wrong with that.

That being said, the least flavorful beer I've ever had was Snow from China. It's claimed to be the #1 selling beer in the world. If you placed it next to fizzy, colored water, I'd have a hard time telling the difference. PBR is a flavor bomb next to Snow.

Beer snob here, but I rarely turn down what is offered. My current fave is Rush River Double Bubble.

It's a double IPA and 2.5 have me under the table.

IPAs are my fave....the bitter hoppiness makes my entire body happy!!

However, I am currently downing an ice cold Coors Light, left over from last weekend when friends came over.

I also love anything from Surly...

I love Southern Tier's Pumking, Choklat and Warlock. Also love Unibroue's Le Fin du Monde. And just about any wheat beer.

I discovered the Pumpking two years ago and fell in love. It's really, really good. And screams FALL to me.

My faves, in no particular order:

Budweiser
Blue Moon
Leinenkugel Big Butt Dopplebock

I don't know if it counts but I am drunk on a Not Your Father's Root beer 22oz 10.7% abv right now.

Glad to see home brewers here! I don't buy a lot of beer.

I picked up a 6 pack of Stone Citrus Wit this week while camping and it was very good.

Sure. Mild flavor doesn't necessarily mean bad. There is such a thing as finesse. However, there is also skunky or poorly made beer. Some breweries aren't terribly consistent either.

A double IPA doesn't have to be bitter. I had the same DIPA bottled and on tap. The bottled version was slightly bitter, but on tap it was sweet with almost no bitterness.

Well, tonight isn't a beer night for me. Single malt Scotch. A little variety is good.

No beer snob here. I will always go for a nice ice cold bottle of pretty much anything as long as it taste like beer and not all fancied up lol. I have always been partial to Michelob and Yuengling

It depends on the context.

In the summer, after mowing the lawn: Sam Adams Summer Ale or Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy or Blue Moon Belgian Wheat.

Feeling particularly Irish? Guinness.

I like to try new things when I am out. I go for craft and prefer local area. I generally dislike IPA's and anything too hoppy (sours my stomach). I prefer stouts (Milk, oatmeal, chocolate...), lagers, and hefeweizens.

My go to when all else fails: Sam Adams Boston Lager

Dos Equis with lime. I'll drink a craft beer from time to time and enjoy it, but a XX with lime is just so refreshing.
