what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

The vegetarian noodle dish at the Commissary at DHS. They don't serve it anymore, thank goodness!

add another vote for the dole whip, I was so exicted to try one after reading on here, but never again...

Anything from the lunch buffet at Hollywood and Vine! Bad food, to be sure, also a disorganized mess!

Chicken dish at Wolf Gang Puck Cafe. Served on ICE cold mashed potatoes with an orange substance sprinkled around them. YUCK:scared1:

Also hated our meal at Sci Fi Thank goodness the dessert was good!

I think the only thing I had that I just didn't like at all was the pizza and breadsticks(more like hard garlic bread) from POR food court.

Other then that I enjoyed everything I had.

I had already posted the watermelon rind salad at Boma. Bot, now that I think more about it I think the pizza at Pizza Planet and Pizzafair is absolutely inedible. I think I could have choked down the watermelno stuff if I had to. But, no way one the pizza.

Ok I have more to add...this thread got me thinking :lmao:

1900 PF dinner, Boma dinner, WCC lunch, H&V dinner....

the CS place in Japan, the CS place in Mexico...they use greasy dark meat ick!

Orange Dole Whip - aka Baby Aspirin Ice Cream

A chocolate cake dessert with balsamic reduction from Flying Fish, GROSS!

Chicken nuggets from Cosmic Rays

Doh Bar from Cookes of Dublin

All of our food at ABC Commissary. Blech!

WORD!

We tried it again in June and WONT ever go back!
Bad food, bad service and the place was FILTHY!

Another one is the coffee frozen drink from the stand outside Rocken Roller Coaster.... it was really bad!

I guess I've been lucky, I can't remember anything that was particularly bad. But then again I've never eaten at a lot of the places mentioned ... San Ángel Inn, ABC Commissary, Yakitori House, 1900 Park Fare. And I thought the POFQ food court left a lot to be desired, but the quality of the food we got was always excellent (from our limited choices, no substitutions allowed, if you're vegetarian too bad, with breakfast you get bacon or nothing).

The one thing I would definitely not get again is a frozen raspberry lemonade from the cart outside The Land. I thought it would taste like the Minute-Maid frozen raspberry lemonade you can get in some places, but instead if was an icee like you'd get at 7-11.

We wouldn't go back to Sci-Fi for the food (although we would for the experience), but the food was perfectly fine, just not outstanding ... reasonable quality but boring. We had excellent food at Kouzzina.

A fish filet sandwich at the ABC Commissary. It was soggy and truly vomit-worthy.

The only truly bad food experience I've had at Disney was the raw chicken sandwich they served me at Captain's Grille.

the side of potato salad that they put on the CS meals in DSH. It was factory diced potatoes with something on them to keep them white and some type of vinegrette salad dressing on it. It was sour and horrific and I spit it out. The veggie burger that was with it was also dried out and hard as a rock. The italian sandwich at Catalina Eddies next to it was also horrible. I thought it was supposed to be like the muffalettas at POFQ, but it was on a small italian roll, had caesar dressing and some sour tasting marinated 'veggies' on it and was sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long.

Oh, and the shrimp and scallop dinner at Kona was horrible. 2 of us got it. It was obviously under a heat lamp (cause it came out 2 minutes after our order along with a dried out rubber steak). I was afraid to eat all 3 scallops because they were cold and mostly raw. The sauce that was on them was disqustingly bitter. The shrimp were cold rubber. The rice was not sticky rice. It was luke warm overcooked gummy starch.
I was so afraid I would be ill from the couple bites of food I had there. Didn't help that we waited nearly an hour past our ADR and the dining experience was less than 45 min.
The only good thing there was the bread and the waitress took it off the table while my Dad had is hand on it trying to tear off a piece of it. So much for eating the good stuff.

2 share the honors- Yakitory - I love Japanese food and I don't even mind dark meat but that chicken thigh meat has funky parts that should be cut off and not served. Secondly, to this day I don't understand how the ABC Commissairy remain open, yuk!

My entire meal (awful-tasting steak, half-raw potatoes and icky salad dressing) at Sci-Fi for dinner.

All of our food at ABC Commissary. Blech!

I totally agree! I was doing a survey for Disney about our next trip and why we got Park Hoppers and I put that the food at DHS was so bad we would be hopping to Epcot to eat whenever we were there!

Years ago, I saw something that looked like a potato or apple salad on the buffet at the Biergarten. I took a big mouthful and gagged. It was actually a cold herring salad. (Ugh!) I still cannot bring myself to go back to that restaurant!
