Ok...so I'm curious. What's the story behind your tag?

The story behind mine?
I'd originally had the 'mind is filled with useless trivia' up there because well..it is. Makes me GREAT at Jeopardy! but lousy at a lot of other things. Not that I care.

The other half of my tag (the politically incorrect half) was inspired by a thread where somebody asked what your secret talent was. Mine is being able to crack most of the bones in my body. I don't know if being flat footed is a talent..but I am nonetheless.

Well I posted on a thread, not that long ago about how people got their tags or something to that nature, and I was whining saying I had been around here since 1999 and had never been tagged and..... well you can read it for yourself!

LOL...reminds me of something that happened at my mom's church once. When Pastor Phil (their assoc pastor)was new to the church, he made a comment one Sunday during his sermon that at other churches, pastors had specially marked parking places. Sure 'nuff, next Sunday, there was a big sign on the front row next to the handicapped spots in the parking lot that said "Pastor Phil's Parking Space".

My tag came about when I posted to a thread that was asking whether poeple in your area say they wait "in line" or "on line" I replied that we in CA wait in line just like we wait in traffic.

Well, I actually wrote my own, as Patrick is the DBF, and I've always wanted to be Tinkerbell for Halloween....and he calls me princess, so I came up with that...Then the lovely TFs added the great colors!! I was quite surprised when I finally realized what had happened! I love it!

Just before I left for WDW I made a comment about how I had dreamed of getting a tag before I left, but "cheese and whiskers" (my @#$%* words) I just couldn't get the tag fairies attention. As soon as I got tagged I posted that I was so excited that Otto (my DH) was laughing at me. So therefore....

Mine have to do with several things. The "earth angel" one is in regard to the DVC points I organized to give to a young family whose mom was dying. You will find several others have this same tag (like Tkyes). The "promise not to plot against the showering" refers to a comment I made to Oldkicker when he was doing the riddle and always posted a shower curtain when he was off preparing for work. For the life of me I can't remember what the bubble comment was about!

The first one is fairly obvious. I love Diet Coke. The second one had to do with the number of Mickey Premium bars I consumed on one trip. I happen to mention that it was a good thing I got to fly home on a wide-body jet.

The Neil Diamond one - who, by the way, ROCKS! - was courtesy of Delswife so cool. One of her trip reports talked about "Where it began", and all I could hear in my head was my mother and all her sisters singing that song...just enjoying being together I thought it was a "secret shout out" to Neil's fans on the Dis...I think the Tag Fairy is one!! Known all the lyrics to his songs since childhood...

My boys like the fireworks at WDW, and they call them "Night Sparkles"... and I enjoy them too... that tag is just wonderful..

and Wishin' Clappin' and always believin'...that's what Disin' is all about...

The first two I had when tags were first started being given out and I asked for them in color and got them. The third I got after we sailed on the DVC Member Cruise - wonder if I was cruising with the tag fairy and didn't know it

There was thread whining about not getting tagged. I said something about that maybe they should run around on the DisBoard in the nude wearing only a scarf to get their attention and then I said I was "pretty in pink."

The second and third ones are because my teenage son works at Universal Studios at the Revenge of the Mummy ride. So I am the Mommy of the Mummy.

The fourth one is because I post on the Universal/IoA board and everyone who posts on that board secretly has the hots for Robin.

Yep and since everyone on the Universal Board has the hots for me.... ....

I've had the "hots" for three different guys in the past two days according to the "lovely" Tag Fairy! Grrrrrrrr...

Right now it's for poor VampHeartless, who is adorable but I'm sure closer to my son's age than MINE!

As for the others:

I am my Dad's only "son"... I used to fix everything around the house and still am very handy, that's why my family calls me Barbara Vila after Bob Vila!

John and Jackie are my dear departed Dad and Mom, both of which left me too fast too short a time ago....

Michael is my way too precious 11yo son, and YES, I am his biggest fan! He has held me up during the worse year of my life and I thank God everyday for giving him to me. I feel so blessed to be his Mom.

I also hope he doesn't see how many people have the "hots" for his Mom!!

The first time I got a riddle I said "most of the time I just sit and scratch my head " next thing I know, that's my tag.
Then when I became a Disboards Sponsor, some of my tag disappeared.... Wish I could get it back. I like the little scratchin head smilie.
