If you don't like a topic, or the way people are dealing with it...walk on by. Why would it bother you so much that people have differing opinions. That is what makes life interesting. I learned a bunch on this board, have looked at opinions/thoughts/ and facts, and have even changed my way of thinking on occasion.

It works just like a community...everyone is different, you have nice people and negative people (some even whine about the posts on this board...)

I like the CB. Not only can I find info about Disney, you can post a thread about almost anything and get answers from people that have real knowledge. I would not want anything changed here. If I don't like the subject, I am free to ignore the thread or post my opinions.

I enjoy the CB the way it is, particularly since the recent addition of the new sub-forums. It is a great way to participate in a discussion, or get advice on pretty much anything.

I completely agree.

I can't understand why people complain about something when they subject themselves to it. If you don't like a political discussion, DON'T READ IT! That goes for the pool hopping, refillable mugs, dining plan credits, etc threads. No one is forcing anyone to read a thread. Heck, you don't even have to open mosts threads to see what they are about. Just hold the cursor over the title and you can see the first few lines. If it's not something you are interested in, then move on.

I really like the CB. I can ask any question and get many answers. I love learning about other people and the CB allows me to do that. It allows me to get other views on subjects and gives me a better understanding on why people think the way they do.

I'm calling for the Admin(s?) of these forums to bring the focus of this community back to what we're all really here for: The love of all things Disney, and then work to keep it that way.

There are lots and lots of threads on the CB and other DIS boards that I have absolutely no interest in. That's why I don't READ those threads. It's very simple. Different strokes and all that....

I have seen more than one post from OP that definitely stirred up controversy, not that a lively discussion isn't a ton of fun. But OP, if you wish , you need to be willing to accept that not everyone will like or even see your point of view. The last time I checked, this was a free country, with that comes many different points of view, not everyone is going to agree with you. I personally do not agree with any of the views that I have seen you post. You post your own very strong opinions on other threads and then you come and start your own thread asking why we have these threads; well if you respond to them, some of us are going to presume that you participated on your own free will. If you don't like what is happening on a thread, don't read it or furthermore, don't respond, but if you do post, you must be open to any conflicting opinions. As my mother used to say "if it is too hot in the kitchen, don't even go in, much less stir the pot!!! But if you do, you might get burned!!!!"

I found the "winning" part to be the most interesting. Seems like our newest spoon master has a new take on . The first clue was posting the Bad American rant with nothing else to say about it.

I guess, America is a free country and the DisBoards governs within America and therefore, is aloud to view, read, respond and avoid posts that are contraversial, edgy or debatable.
