What's the point?

I can take opposing opinions. I just read 3 pages of them.

But yet Rick's was the only one you felt the need to respond to. Why is that?

Ooooo... tough words from the big gay man why likes to dish it out and can't take it in return (errr... nevermind...gross). I tried to engage in a civil debate with a few of you and you all proved my point for me. I said I'd never be back there, and I never will.

Well..........then why are you still on. If you can't respect others lifestyles and think you are the only one who may be perfect then what do you expect, we all have our own ideas and beliefs and just as you we are entitled to believe them but we don't have to condem others for theirs. Why would you even visit the G/L board if it were not the way you chose to live your life? The world is made up for many people and thank goodness we do not all think alike, then we would be clones! The CB board has been here alot longer than you and I think it will be here alot longer, people come here for ideas, suggestions and support, not to be harrassed because there is a separate board for such. You asked why there was not a board for african americans, latinos etc. and only one for G/L well I believe that group of people could have one started if there was enough interest but quite honestly I think that there is only one for G/L because their lifestyle may not always agree with the lifestyle of the general public, it also gives them an area to discuss things that are relevant to their lifestyle, as far as I know latinos and african americans generally are accepted and live what some people want to think of as normal. I have never visited the G/L board simply because I don't live that lifestyle, and I don't hold any prejudice against them or anyone else. I do visit the adult and solo board because that is what I am, and I am glad to see that there are many others who do. It seems to me you like to throw stones at other peoples houses simply because they do not believe like you or act like you. So perhaps your "other" board is more to your likeing we like our board and boards the way they are.

Seems simple enough to me. Some folks on this forum could find it easy enough to get into a flame match with someone over a lollipop.

Do you honestly think I care? Do think my feelings are hurt or that I'm upset or something. Hell no. Why should I be? I say what I like. And if the mods don't like it, they can warn me and I'll tone it down (at least the respectable ones). Easy enough.

I said that last post of yours..............I didn't have a problem with YOUR opinions of the CB, because they are YOURS and I don't care about that. But when RickinNYC gave his opinion, you got nasty (and that is the word I would use for that post). So you can't take his opposing opinion, obviously. ".....at least the respectable ones"?

I don't have a problem with gays. I really don't. Heck, I live with a gay. I know all about the "lifestyle", and the attached political outlook. The only problem I do have with the gay populous is why the hell do you have to continuously rub your lifestyle in my face? How? Take gayday at WDW for example. For a minority group that so want's to be "excepted" by the mainstream, why do you all go to such great lengths to segregate yourselves? Honest question.

To be honest, I don't really have a problem with Rick, not personally anyway. I'm sure in the everyday world he's probably a rather decent human, just as I am. What I don't like is a mod trying to pull rank and using his "status" as a way of saying "I can say whatever I like and you can't". That I have a problem with.

I think the OP has issues related to that "E" word he used.

and as to his comments to Rick they were totally uncalled for. If the OP doesn't like the non disney topics on the community board I would suggest he avoid it in the same manner he plans to avoid the Gay/Lesbian board.

(also op I think the word you were searching for was accepted not excepted as excepted would mean left out which is what I wish you would do with the community board)
