OKAY..
DW goes to a small church and at her church you can go in front & sing and she sings like an angel...
She sings every so often...maybe one day I will get the courage to go up there and sing with her...the church holds about 100 people, it's a small church, but its family..
So once in a while I will sing her to sleep...
Haven't done that in awhile though..might have to surprise her tomorrow night..

I know you said only one thing, but I just thought of something my brother Jack, the king of nice, did for me one time.

I was feeling really down about something, can't really remember now what it was about, and he did the most amazing thing for me. He knows I like Lucky Charms, but only the marshmellows, not the oats. So over the course of several weeks and probably about 50 boxes of Lucky Charms, he picked out all the marshmellows, put them in a jar, put a big red bow around it, and left them on my doorstep. No note was attached, but I knew immediately they were from my dear brother Jack. He's one of a kind, and I'm so blessed to have him.

I have not been fair to y'all. I will explain now.

For my birthday, I got a FEDEX box. In it was a survey. It stated that I must complete the survey, then I could open my personalized gift pack.

I thought something was up when the letter explaining everything was signed my "Anthony Greg Murray" - three of the Wiggles. hehehe

Then I read the survey and knew that there was NO WAY it was legit. I mean, asking what going to WDW is like and one of the answers is "Giving birth to Dumbo - breech" gave me a little clue.

So, like a good little girl, I completed the survey while LOL!

I then opened my personally selected THANK YOU gift.

It was a Jessie lunchbox. I thought - OK......

I opened the lunchbox.

There was a "Return to NeverLand" DVD.

COOL!!

I removed that.

Then I saw the two Four Day Park Hoppers.

I started crying, crying like you wouldn't believe. I am, in fact, crying as I type this.

I removed those.

Then I saw a VERY LARGE stack of Disney dollars - all $10 bills.

I was completely and totally sobbing at this point. I just couldn't believe it!!

I removed those.

Then I saw a note.

The note explained that I was to be the guest of this VERY GENEROUS DISer for a four night stay at the Swan for DIS CON.

I still can't believe it.

I just can't.

for that person on the MOST IGNORED DISER thread - this is for you.

You either get it, or you don't.

We here embody the magic that Walt inspired. I have made SO MANY friends here, and I love them all. Y'all are my DISNEY FRIENDS. And even though, when I talk about y'all, people sometimes look at me like I am a freak, I don't care. They don't understand what they are missing. I am not lonely. I have a family and friends here in Houston. I CHOOSE to be here. The friends that I have made here touch my heart. I hope that I touch their's, also.



I am going to get a tissue now.

Yes, it is, Shep. And you are a big part of that. You take the time to say something on almost every post. You are always kind and supportive, and you notice when people reach a posting milestone and start a thread for them. Not to mention your incredible sense of humor.

wow jtb! that is great. my best girlfriend was there for me when i needed her most, when my dad died. i don't see her that much anymore, but she stayed by my side for 3 days when i needed her the most.

I would have to say it was the nurses at the hospital when I had DS. They knew I had recently lost my husband. He was only 38 and had a massive heart attack. They were so sweet...gave me extra formula for the baby. And then to top it off, they gave me a baby shower! DS was in style! LOL! Bless their hearts!! I still keep in contact with a couple of them.
