I’ve only been a member for a few months, mostly posting in the DVC forums. Everyone has been super helpful, respectful, and patient. It’s been such a pleasure learning about all things Disney with you.

I’ve been posting on all sorts for forums for years- home, auto, woodworking, finance, etc., and there are always faceless haters who try to bring you down instead of help. This is really the first place I haven’t experienced this, and I wanted to say THANKS!

Welcome Home, in more than one way! The DVC section tends to be a bit kinder and nicer than some of the other sections on the Dis (there are jerks on the internet no matter where you go, unfortunately). DVC'ers "get it" IMO. We tend to enjoy the resorts more and take it a little slower at the parks - because we know we'll be back again soon. And if you invest in DVC, you've committed both finances and time to Disney. So you care. DVC'ers tend to turn the lights out when they leave the room (keep expenses down). DVC'ers know who to talk to at resorts if something is amiss. DVC'ers have seen (or will see) the changes that continually happen at Disney. And for the most part, DVC'ers roll with it. We're here for the long haul and we enjoy like minded people! (Disney people, that is!)
