The most expensive face value ticket I have ever bought was £180 (per ticket!) for Madonna's last tour, great seats right by the stage and a great concert so it was well worth it to me, but a massive increase from the £20 ticket to see her at Wembley way back in 1990

We also got TT tickets this evening after trying most of the day

The most expensive ticket I purchased was £50 for Chuck Berry at the Shepherds Bush empire (6th row back). Closest to that in price was BB King, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton at £40 each

£50 is the most i will pay for a concert ticket, and it has to be something REALLY special and a great seat for that. Seeing BB King for the 3rd time at £40 was a struggle to justify, but probably the most bang for buck ticket considering he played for well over two and a half hours.

I think all the established worldwide stars should be capped to £50 per ticket, after all they have built up huge fan bases over the years, they should give something back!

Part of me still can't believe how much I paid for a Madonna ticket - when I saw the final amount on my credit card for three tickets - it was more than my flight to Florida
