What's the MOST you ever paid for a room?

$12,500 for our DVC points ;).

Seriously, I think the most we ever spent was $450 per night for a 1 BR at BWV for 3 nights (12/30/1999 - 1/2/2000). It was an AP rate (!) and we had the same unit reserved though DVC before and after. It's a big jump to the next highest rate which would probably be my upcomimg trip to the Poly for the CBR upgrade rate of $105 :).

The most I've paid for WDW resorts...well, I paid $119/night for CBR back in 1993. In 1998, I paid $229/night, but that was for a 2BR Fairway Villa at the DI, so the dollar amount was more, but it was much more than a regular room - it had the same square footage as my house!!

The most we paid for a room was $345 for 2BR @ OKW. This was on an AP rate in '99. My parents went along and they split the bill with us. This was one of the best rooms we've ever had.

We are paying $200 night for GF this fall. We have an airline discount so I thought that was good. But I have a terrible feeling we are going to be completely spoiled and not want to stay anywhere else!

Hehehehe You will be completely spoiled :):) When I stayed at the Poly like I said in a eariler post I split the cost with my friend. So it was easier to work that in the budget. Well come out Feb trip I wanted to stay in a monorail hotel so convinced my hubby that it was our anniversary celebration (10 years in May). This trip I promised the hubby that when we leave for DW I would at least have the Boardwalk reservations paid down to at least what a All Star would cost us. (Went on ebay selling spree and accomplished my goal. Hoping the garage sale in the fall will pay the hotel off :):) )

$310 for Poly lagoon view during Christmas-New Year's 1997-98. Had to see Disney at Christmas. Won't pay that again though.

I'm getting hives reading these numbers! Call me a miser, but the most I've ponied up in many, many years of WDW travel is $99 for a moderate during peak season 2000. I'm turning somersaults over the $79 rate at PO later this month!!!

We paid $164/nt for garden view at the Poly in Jan 2000. Our second trip was to the Swan for $109/nt, Nov 2000. Last year's trip was also to the Swan, Dec 2001, and was $75/nt (got 2 rooms). Our next trip is at Thanksgiving, and is at the Contemporary for $89/nt (2 rooms).

We can get SOG rates, so that has helped us afford some of the nicer hotels for great rates.

Always ;-)

Jan 2002, we paid $300.00 per night for a 2 bdrm Villa at Wilderness Lodge. I rented through a DVC owner. It was the best resort for us by far.:D

The most we ever paid was $164 per night at the Polynesian Garden View room on a Shades of Green overflow rate in January 2000 (Hunzi and I must have been there during the same time!)

As far as other places/hotels, $170 Oceanfront room, Holiday Inn Sun Spree, Virginia Beach.

$239 plus tax ($265) at GF Garden View in 10/99 incl a 20% MKC discount. We did a GF Lagoon view in 1994, but that was a package and I can't find the papers, it may have been more. That was all pre-DVC. DVC of course is another story, it's hard to put a per night value on it.

On our upcoming trip we are paying $119 per night at the Poly. I know it is an awesome deal, but it is more than we ever pay. We are AS/CBR people! Usually with an AP rate of $49/$79. But I couldn't pass up the Poly. Now we will probably never go back to the mods and AS!

As am I!!!! :)

I felt gouged for $193/night (including tax) at BWI. When the Marriott came out with $25, I cancelled it. I also had POR for $84/night including tax. I'm a bargain hunter!!!

104.94 for Sports! And I thought THAT was a bargain! Now, due to codes, I know better!;)

$298 for AKL Savannah View...I know, very high, but we booked it while we were waiting to eat at boma's for that night! LOL It was worth it to us...we loved it! :)

I think the most we ever paid at WDW is about $139.00 for a moderate before we knew about these boards.

Now the most ever was $1200.00 for 2 nights at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island for our 20th wedding anniversary.

This was the American Plan - it included a seven course dinner each night and a wonderful breakfast each day.

$234 with tax at the Poly last May (using the codes, thank goodness!!!)

Our highest will be this December. $110/night incl. tax at Poly GV ;) A GREAT rate I know but still the most we've ever paid!!!
