There's a lot I could say here... but it really does depend on the situation. I'll take a very different approach to a child wearing Heelies than I will with someone assaulting a CM, for example. It's like the old saying goes: Choose your battles wisely... and honestly, I'm not interested in screaming at kids all day for being kids. They don't like it and their parents don't like it. Oh, I'll say something, sure... but I'm not about to call Security or Management over it.Touche, Buzz. I apologize for the characterization. But I'm curious, do they not give you as CMs the right to enforce the rules? If someone refuses to obey park rules, what do they tell you is the appropriate course of action? Seems to me like if there are going to be park rules, there have to be people willing to make sure said rules are followed.
It's the same with smoking. Some folks see a guest smoking and assume we CMs don't say anything. Some don't, but a lot of us do... which still doesn't stop the guests from blowing a cloud of smoke in our faces and sneering "I paid thousands of dollars to be here and I'll smoke wherever I please."
The most dangerous / stressful job at WDW? (IMHO) Anything having to do with FastPass -- specifically, FastPass Return or FastPass Merge.
