The Embassy Suites in NYC. All in all a nice hotel. Strange thing happened, though. Someone on the 11th floor put their fist through the glass railing which overlooks the escalator which connects the small first floor lobby to the second floor. What a mess the hotel had getting the glass out of the escalator and 2nd floor areas. I hope they caught the person who was stupid enough to do that prank.
The very last place we stayed at was a Fairfield Inn, in the Hilton Head area & no we did not like it. The entire week before that, we stayed at Pop Century & we were very happy there.
An older Holiday Inn somewhere in Dallas, Texas. It was a nightmare This was for only one night but I won't be staying there again. It was was for a music conference so the room was paid for.
The Marriott at The Woodlands outside of Houston. It was a nice hotel but I thought the bathroom was a little small and it seemed like our room was missing some furniture (a big gap between the armoire and closet that was big enough for a love seat to fit in). They had a nice wine bar with appetizers but I just couldn't get used to people smoking inside while I was eating. We did have a good time shopping at The Woodlands mall across the street.
Was nice, wireless internet - nice comp breakfast, conference room was awful, and the pool- oh we wont even go there...i was there for my CPO recert, so we picked that pool apart
Staybridge Suites in San Diego, about 10 days ago. We got a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for my family - 2 full beds/baths, nice sized living room and kitchen.
Before that...a Travel Inn in London in January...I miss that hotel (well, that city!) a lot more.
It was just last month near Grand Rapids, Michigan. We stayed at a Hotel Right by Grand Valley State University..... I think it was called Sleep Inn & Suites. We were visiting the College (DD is a Junior, so we are looking). Since it is almost a 3 hour drive from our house, we spent the night at the hotel so we could wake up and go straight to the Open House.
We liked the hotel...... they had a Continental Breakfast and you could make your own Waffles in a Waffle Maker.
