What's the first thing you do....

upon arriving at Disney?

For me and DH, it's check into the Allstars (music to be exact), get cleaned up and head into Downtown Disney for some window shopping and dinner at HOB or Wolfgang Puck's.


So what about the rest of you? Is there anything you've changed over the years, or has it become a tradition?

Check in of course, then we check out the room, drop off our stuff, and then take a breather and off to the parks we go!

The past few times we have checked in, spent some time relaxing by the pool(weve driven the past 3 times ...24 hours straight), and then went to the BW for dinner at ESPN.
But for our upcoming trip, we are flying and should be checking in around noon. Since the Bruins are playing at 1:00pm we hope to head over to ESPN for lunch and to catch the game if the broadcast it.

Check in, hang out and relax at the pool and check out the resort and then head to Chef Mickeys for dinner.

From where we fly, we usually have a partial "non park" day when we arrive, so usually it's dinner and DTD and monorail resort shopping. It's a highlight for me

We usally get there early, so we check in, unload the luggage in the room (the room has always been ready ) than hit one of the parks.

After checking in and freshening up, we always head for Epcot to just soak up the atmosphere.

We unpack, head over to Winn Dixie and then over to the Boardwalk. I just love it there, its my favorite place in WDW

Usually go to the Poly to visit and take in the smell. It was the first resort we ever stayed at and it holds a special place in my heart.

YAAAY! thats what we do too! We go check in, to the music lately and then depending on how much time we have we go to MK but usually we just head straight for Downtown Disney! (to see what we have to save our money for all week )

After checking into the hotel, we always go to Downtown Disney.
Last time we went as a family we were at Wilderness Lodge Villas so instead of Downtown Disney we headed over to Magic Kingdom which was closer.

depends if we have APs or UPH. If we have AP's it is off to the parks. If we have UPH, then it is resort pool and off to Downtown Disney shopping.

It doesn't usually matter where we are going, lol, we end up doing the same thing at every hotel--we get dragged to the pool by Ashli for a so-called 'quick' swim.
