the first thing i have to do before anything else, is go see Mickey. after that i ride the Haunted Mansion, then i hit everything in clockwise order.

:lovestruc ::yes:: ::MickeyMo :hmghost:

My classic is an arrival day trip to Downtown Disney which includes a few hours at Disney Quest. We eat a nice dinner at DTD and prepare for the next days park hopping!

I go to Downtown Disney, eat lunch, get fast passes to big rides, and go on Haunted Mansion, and POTC while we wait

The absolute first thing I do is right under that special archway to where all the magic is.
Right before the car my parents and I are in go under the archway, I say, "Not Disney. Not Disney. Not Disney." And as soon as we go under it I scream, "DISNEY! I'M HOME!"

lol. thats funny :goodvibes

The first thing I do is go to downtown disney and eat at rainforest cafe. Its sort of like our disney trip tradition. I know a lot of people think rainforest cafe is tacky, but we love it!!! :thumbsup2

i breathe. and then grin like a moron and break out into song.

actually, its a good thing to do while waiting in line for a ride. start singing something disney, and see how many people start singing along. its fun, it helps pass the time, and you get to show your awesome disney-obssesive-ness.

The last two times we've been there, we talk a walk around the Poly while they're getting our room ready. My dad takes a picca of me hugging a palm tree (two years ago, the first time I went, I was soo excited to see palm trees and I told my friend that I would hug the first one I saw. Sadly the first one I saw was across the street from the airport, and I'd get killed trying to cross that busy street)
Then we either take a monorail ride, go to Downtown Disney or head to the park that will take us the least time to accomplish.

(Before I say this be sure to know this is ALWAYS my mom's idea)

We join hands and walk up to Main St. USA with the castle in the distance. . .my mom's cue to start crying. lol

Samme Here :goodvibes Sometimes I actually do break into a song. :D

I start shaking then screaming then laughing then crying. Its my own tradition.

We always arrive at night and a set up ourroom and go to DTD and just eat at WGP Express. Watch a Disney Movie on the Disney Channel. Then sleep.

The parks always go in a different order depending on the time we go,
March, AK, MK, Epcot, MGM, MK, MGM
October, MK, MGM, MK, MGM, MK
August, MK, MGM, MK, MGM

I went to E and AK my fist time in March 2006

as soon as we pull up to the hotel and are in check in i laugh...then grin then laugh and jump up and down as i go all over the lobby and shops remebering it all and saying disney world disney world!!!!!!!!!!! i get soo excited its one of the rare occasions i act like that...

we usualy go to Downtown Disney on the first day, or just sit at the campground.

we usualy hit MK only for MNSSHP, thats usualy on the 2nd day.

On my first day coming in November( ive been several times before) it will be my friends 18th birthday. So i plan to take her to pleasure island, after getting settled into our hotel first of course. But It will also be her first time to disney. Can't wait, my first time as an "adult". should be fun.

When in November? I'll be there the 22nd-26th.

I live like, really close (just across the state, lol; it's pretty much a straight line west as far as you can go from Disney :yay: ), so I don't really have a special ritual. Usually we just head to a park and grab FastPasses. But my ideal would be to catch the MK opening show (the rest of my family are not Disney freaks and don't like the show  ) then stroll on up to the train and ride to Frontierland and BTM. :goodvibes

After we get settled at the hotel (the Polynesian, which I love love love), we go the Magic Kingdom. My parents, being the beat-the-crowds type, get us there before it opens. And while I'm standing there, looking at the archway, seeing the train, I just--this is going to sound so corny, but it's true!! :goodvibes --sort of take a deep breath and smile. It's the happiest feeling I know, I think! And then once the park opens, it's straight to Tomorrowland for us! :teeth:
