what's the construction at MK?

I noticed a fence with some sort of construction near Splash Mtn. I could see the back when we did the train around MK.
What's being built / remodeled there?

I don't remember seeing anything when I was just there, however maybe it has to do with the fact that Splash Mountain is closed for renovations from Janurary 4 - Janurary 17.

A new McDonald's food counter and outdoor dining area -- it's not quite a full restaurant, but more than just a cart (the scale is about on a par with Sleepy Hollow Refreshments). I believe the plan is for them to sell fries, McNuggets, and wraps. I can't recall the name -- I think I heard "The Golden Oak"; I'm likely wrong.

I've seen the concept art and it looks good. Should fit right in next to Pecos Bill's.

Except that Disney doesn't build parade staging areas onstage and off the parade route.

The eatery will be called "Golden Oak Outpost" and will open in January 2009.
