What's the bounceback right now?

We're visiting the mouse on Sept 15th .

Anyword if there's a bounceback and if so what it is? I'd already booked this years trip last year by this time I think with the general offer for free dining.

You know you've got it bad when you haven't got this years trip done and are thinking about next years. I know you guys will understand though.

the offers we found in our rooms in both July & October of 2010 were only good for dates thru the end of 2010 with many blackout periods.

Yes. There are a lot of blackout dates. Most weekends and and holidays are blacked out. The available dates are usually just Sunday through Thursday.

The bounce back is good usually only for the current year. For example this past May I was able to book a bounce back for December.

I'm not sure when bounce backs will include 2012 dates. I've asked around about what people experienced last year and they said 2011 bounce backs weren't available until 2011. I'm going mid-December and am hoping that we can book our 2012 dates with a bounce back but I've been warned to not get my hopes up too much.

When we went last October (23-31st) we got a bounceback that was good thru the end of September 2011. I'm also hoping we see a bounceback for 2012 when we visit at the end of September this year

I'll be there starting Sunday and am hoping for a BB offer. I always go in late August, and have always had offers in my room, but am somehow not feeling optimistic about one this year.

At least I know I'm not alone in wanting to visit again next year. But I'm so suprised that no one is around who's been recently and can tell us what it is.

We'll be at POFQ this year too. We were there last year and loved it so much we had to go back. Well to be honest we started out that this years trip would be at Coronado then All-Star Music and now we're back at POFQ. It's official now though Mickey mail came yesterday

I have never booked a BB but am already thinking about Aug 2012. If there is a BB (we go 2 weeks from today) can I book it and later make changes? I am so unsure of where I want to stay next year....I'd like to try the new resort but we really like deluxe, haven't stayed value in years, so could I book one resort with the BB and then change it?

We stayed two nights at POP last week and had the BB offer in our room- 35% off value and mod resorts (as we were at a value, it didn't show deluxe or villa discounts but said to call). The offer though was only through the end of the year. Usually there will be a BB offer during the fall that includes 2012.---Kathy

At least we know they're still offering a bounceback of some kind then. I thought I read rumours a while ago that they were doing away with them. Any kind of discount is better than none. Free dining works best for us though so heres fingers crossed for a good one that is available for 2012.

Free dining is what we were hoping for as well. Have been lucky enough to get it the last few years. Without it, we'll have to be more crative with our dining plans and will most likely be eating off-property more, especially since we always rent a car. Fingers crossed.
