To the best bus service? I know most moderate resorts have multiple bus stops. All I care about is getting to the parks in a timely manner. French Quarter will be out of the question since we're a family of 5 now.

Values are best at bussing...POFQ is tops...but since that is knocked out...I would put POR next- just make sure to go to the first stop...same problem with other moderates...the multi stops in resort are always a problem unless you go to the first stop. Did the same at Coronado and Carribean. With skyliner...I agree with previous response...cutting busses out altogether is the best option for moderates...

This is so true! We've stayed multiple times at mods and deluxe. But the best bussing ever was at All Star Sports. They're just use to moving lots of people with multiple busses continually. Whereas, we would book it like crazy to catch a bus from epcot to WL since we knew otherwise we'd have to wait 1\2 hour for the next one

CBR usually has a bus that runs each side of the resort separately. The three bus stops in the front -Martinique, Main Building, Trinidad - will be picked up by one bus and then Jamaica and Aruba will be picked up by another bus.

POR wasn't mentioned yet, but we have stayed there several times and never had a problem with buses. It has multiple bus stops but usually has buses coming and going frequently.
We stay at POFQ now due to mobility issues. We like POR much better as for ambience and just everything about it:) POFQ, in our experience, is not always great with buses. Due to it's smaller size, alot of people with mobility issues stay there, us included. Therefore, there is a greater than normal chance of ECV"s at both stations. We will be in that category the next time, as my husband has to use an ECV to be able to get around. We find the smaller footprint at POFQ to be very helpful in our situation. If we could, we would go back to POR, as we Love that resort. Also some guests at POR come to POFQ to use their one bus stop(really 2 stops) to get possibly better service.

Of course, all this is not relevant to you if WDW hasn't opened up these resorts before fall. I hope they do, when they get the staffing worked out.

My personal preference in order from best to worst bus service (did not include Ft Wilderness even though it's a mod bc I've never stayed there). CBR has the most stops of the mods. And note, POFQ/POR, when they do reopen, my guess for the first bit of time, they'll share a bus and so FQ will stop at POR.
  1. POFQ
  2. POR
  3. CSR
  4. CBR

I stayed here in 2017 and that was how the buses ran....I never had bad bus service in the 10 days I was there....but POFQ will always be my first pick

That's crazy to me! The worst busses we've ever had were at ASMu... It seemed like we had a lot of folks with scooters at the resort at that time?? So that definitely slowed us down.

Wow bummer, we couldn't believe how easy bussing there was! We had only stayed at mods and deluxe before that last trip. Loved it

I would say CBR. The "secret" being you put a request to stay in building 55 in the Aruba section. It puts you the closest you can be to Riviera. It gives you the flexibility to use the Riviera buses as well as the Riviera QS and skyliner station.
Do you know if there are fifth sleeper rooms in that section?

I think each building has a mixture of 5th sleeper rooms. We were in room 5540, which is the corner closest to Riviera. It did not have the flip down bed, but I believe the room next door did.

We've had the best bussing at CSR. DD and I stayed there a few years ago and never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus, going to or coming from the parks, and I don't think either of us ever stood at any time. But we've only stayed CSR once. We will be staying again in a month so hopefully it's still good.
We usually stay POR and as long as you avoid the South Depot, it's not bad. We made the mistake once of trying to get on an Epcot bus during F&W at the SD. The line stretched almost to the gift shop doors, and people were angry. Especially when an Epcot bus pulled up, opened its doors, closed its doors, and left without picking anyone up. There was a CM at the bus stop and this guy got in his face saying it was BS blah blah blah. He just stood there and let him scream. Luckily someone pulled the guy away. I think we ended up walking over to the West Depot with no one else waiting and never used the South Depot in the morning ever again.

The buses are the buses are the buses. Obviously, it is going to take longer if you are staying at one of the resorts with multiple internal stops and especially if you are at the first stop. The reverse of that is if you are at the last stop, there is a good chance the bus is going to be full and you are going to have to wait for the next one. I've stayed at every resort on site including in a RV at the Fort and Shades of Green before it was military, except for SS, AoA, POFQ, WL and RiV. I have actually used the buses at the ones I haven't stayed while visiting them. I have had good and bad service at every single resort. I've had long waits and no waits at every single resort.

Although POR has been our fav, we are staying at CBR in Aug to try out the Skyliner. I think it will be a game changer!
