I was just wondering what the actual ROFR process is really like.

Are there a bunch of CMs sitting around a big table voting yea or nay on the contracts?

Is it done by computer?

Is it one person looking at stats?

Is it done daily? Twice a week? Once a week?

Does anyone know?

:cool1:

There are six chairs in the room, with seven DVC CMs. One of the CMs wears a sign that says "exercise ROFR". The song "It's a Small World" plays in the background as the CMs circle the six chairs. At somepoint the music stops, and the CMs all quickly sit in a chair.

*If the CM that is still standing is wearing the sign, ROFR is exercised.*

That's my theory, and I'm stickin' to it. :teeth:

So ROFR must stand for " Random, Officially Forget Reason " :)

I think there is one aspect of ROFR that we will all agree on - it was the longest N weeks of our lives!

We were lucky during the ROFR process, our little princess was born!!!!, was a great distraction, she was 9 weeks premature, in NICU for 2 weeks then one more at CHOP, in the middle of all of that we wired the funds and became members. I would highly recommend distraction!!!

Interesting story, I'm so glad you passed ROFR during that difficult time:grouphug:

And how wonderful, everytime you see your little one, it has to remind you of VWL!:cloud9:
