Finally finished Lord of the Flies. I liked the ending to the book, it was a lot more intense and interesting than I expected. So apparently on the little kids and Ralph escaped the fire and everyone else died

I always think the LotF has its deeper meaning first and the adventure is secondary.
No, Jack and all the other boys are alive. The only characters who die are Simon, Piggy, and the boy with the birthmark.

How is Tumblr going for you guys anyway? I still haven't signed up (it's on my list of things to do, once I come up with some sort of "theme" or something...) and you guys said something about 4Chan being angry at the members of the site. Hmm... What do you call people who use Tumblr a lot? Tumbler? Tumblrers? Tumblrnauts? Actually, I quite like that last one. From now on, anyone who uses Tumblr shall be called Tumblrnauts!

I don't remember a kid with a birthmark...

4chan has created Tumblr errors as their "Phase I".

What made them question his vulnerability in the first place? And who shoots a laser at a kid as a way of determining this said invulnerability?

I do know there is a deeper meaning, but some wouldn't bother looking for it because the book until the end is plainly said... boring. The end was intense, but I think it had the most meaning.
Oh... then why were they all crying? I thought the fire had killed all the boys. There were only toddlers at the beach away from the fire.

He was the one who warned them about the beast in chapter two. He was an extremely minor character, but they killed the messenger.

I really don't remember that. Did I just skip over that section of something? *Googles*

Ah, so he disappeared after the fire, presumably killed in it. But they say only two kids died. So either they forgot about him, they didn't consider his death to be important, or he was found later on after the fire, and being an extremely minor character, never really had any significance afterwards. I prefer the last theory really.

There were lots of errors going on everytime you reblogged something. But it's all better now, I believe. People with Tumblrs are called Tumblrers.

Some were crying because they had been rescued. Ralph was crying over the savagery he witnessed as well as Piggy and Simon's deaths.

I still prefer Tumblrnauts. It sounds cooler :teeth:
