Calling all planners...

I am starting a planning notebook for our trip this summer. So far, I've printed off driving directions from Google maps. I was wondering what all I should include. Anyone care to share their table of contents with me?

TIA:worship:

OHH yes this was an activity I absolutely loved doing before our trip.

Not sure about a table of contents but I included:

-The park hours for each day including EMH
-Which park(s) on which day of the trip
-All the rides/events for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studios
*Put fastpass signs next to fastpass offered rides and events
*Highlitghed the rides that were family must dos
-Dining options for each park (whatever sounds good or want to try)
-Fastpass selections for each day
-Dining plans (ADR) for each if any day
-Overall day-to-day plans

I include all of the above the PP mentioned on our vacation spreadsheet, plus I make lists - a long snack list I've compiled of things I want to try & where they're located, items I need to purchase before (we drive every year so we pack a lot), Memory Maker, ponchos, etc), and any other things I need to do beforehand.
Happy planning! :)

Besides what others have mentioned, I include our Sun Pass information because we drive and want to avoid as much of I-4 as we can when heading into Orlando. Also included is my list of Disney Outlet Stores, and my Disney packing lists.

I include characters we want to meet at each park, along with where they meet, and the times. I check occasionally and plan to check this info again right before leaving for our trip to make sure all is still as expected!

You can also find some super helpful (and adorable) things on Etsy to add to your binder!

There's the car games that can be a nice distraction from the drive, such as the license plate game from the states.
We've driven from NJ several times, and I've got a list of landmarks that are in order on I-95 for our drive down, such as the Marine Corps. Museum (easily seen from the road), the Kings Dominion sign and farther south, the Big Sombrero at South of the Border. Several other landmarks in between on the list, leading up the I-4 interchange and the first Disney billboard, and Exit to the park. Kind of corny, I admit, but after all, I am Clark Griswald according to my better half:)
Happy Planning!

I USED to keep a planning notebook . .. . it is now 2015, I keep a planning Google Document, which is shared with the other members of my traveling party. They all have permission to add comments, but not to change the content of the document.

I keep park hours, restaurant ideas and links to menus (after we make ADR's that info will be in the document) names of shops we want to look in, a list of mixed drinks from around the property (just in case the kids get to us lol).

Shopping lists, packing lists, to do before we leave lists.

The document has hotel reservation info for our overnight stays on the way down, and back (we drive from NY) FP+ will be in there when they are made. Pretty much anything and everything that you might put into a planning notebook is contained in one Google Document.

-All the rides/events for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studios

Great idea!!

We also printed out maps of each park with food locations and bathrooms.

Our 2 most stressful times came from being hungry and not knowing where to grab a bite and having to take a little one potty and not being able to quickly find a bathroom! :)
