I will be styaing at OKW in October and wanted to bring some fresh fruit in for the mornings, but I will need a sharp knife and a cutting board to cut it with. Do these studios have that kind of stuff in it and if they don't, can I call down and ask to have some brought to the room? THANKS!

There are no utensils in the studios. There is a start up set of plastic knives, forks, spoons and paper plates & bowls. You also get "real" glasses and coffee mugs. Housekeeping may be able to provide items that are in the bigger villas for you to use. (They used to provide toasters "on demand" before they decided to just permanently put them in the units.) I'm betting a knife wouldn't be a problem. I'm not so sure about the cutting board.

Both a knife and a cutting board have been brought to me while staying in a studio at BWV. I would assume this would also not be problem at a OKW studio.

They will bring you anything you ask for along those lines.

Thanks everyone! That helps in my planning.... I didn't think it would be too good an idea to bring a knife with me on the plane...... THAT could cause a slight problem!!!

Would we be charged for requesting this extra items? Thanks!

There are hairdyers in the bathrooms.

There is no charge for these items. However, it is nice to give the person who delivers them a tip.
