What's harder to book VWL or BCV at 7 month mark?

What is harder to book VWL or BCV at 7 month mark?

We currently own at SSR and are planning on purchasing an additional 150 points. That will give us 5 nights (Su-Th) in a 1 BR during Magic season at BCV or VWL. We could bank and borrow or change resorts for the weekends if necessary.

Here's the Dilemma: We enjoy both resorts for different reasons. We love the coziness and location to MK (boat ride) of VWL and the location and pool of BCV. We are leaning toward BCV since we believe it is more difficult to book, however I don’t know that to be true. We are really torn.

BLT has also thrown us for a loop because I would love to buy a small contract there but I don’t see needing more than the 150 additional points.

Depends when you want to go. BCV is harder during the summer months and during F&W festival. VWL is harder from mid-Nov to early Jan with the Christmas holiday theming.

Thanks! I kind of thought that. I was also thinking if I really want to stay at WL it is more affordable than BC to pay cash. We have never been to WDW during Christmas Season so we may opt for CRO if necessary.

I think I am leaning BCV but my DH LOVES VWL.

If it were not for VWL, my DH would not have agreed to DVC. He loved it enought to allow us to purchase 250 points. We also have points at BCV. We have been staying at other resorts to try them out but we are leaving for VWL on Oct. 9. When I told DH that we were returing to VWL he said "Thank Goodness!" He is obviously ready to return to "his resort".

75 and 75? With banking and borrowing you can each have your way! We own at both, because we couldn't chose one over the other. We're no help, I know, we own at 5 resorts. VWL is really our first love, but then we stayed at BCV and just knew that we would want to stay there sometimes too. Before DVC, we never dreamed that we would be staying at these great places.

WL convinced me to buy DVC so I am partial. But if your DH "LOVES" WLV....I would go with that....let him feel part of the process

VWL is my first love. It is also the smallest of the DVC resorts. If you are wanting certain times of the year, it is almost impossible. You can buy at the sold out resorts. I just did a add on at BCV's, I waited about 2 months for my Use year to become available. I own at 4 resorts, that way I can get my desired timeframe.
