Anyone know what is happening on Feb. 27? Touring Plans has DCA at a crowd level "10". I've looked around and can't figure it out. Is there a convention or something?

Touring plans isn't accurate for DL or DCA

I suspect that it's based on relic information. In the past, the JR Spirit Championships were held at the Hyperion Theater in DCA around that time (they were there on Feb 28 in 2015). In 2016, the event is moving to Knotts Berry Farm, so I doubt DCA will have that high of a crowd on 2/27.

February 27th is a Saturday - from my experience weekends, even during the "off season" are busy. I know there is no longer an off season but there are 'not insane' times.

However, we have been there when the cheer leading has gone on before and it wasn't crazy busy.

To each their own! I'll certainly agree that they aren't as accurate at DLR as they are in WDW. We usually check them and a few other sources to kind of cobble together and overall picture of what to expect.
