Whats going on with Vera Bradley

O.K. googled to find the new pattern...not a fan
However, do really like the Midnight with Mickey pattern, but disappointed you can only get it on ebay

I'm not sure where best to post this, so please point me in the correct direction if I am totally off. I just registered for the brunch. I received my confirmation with the link to the merchandise store. When I followed the link I got the following message: "You are not allowed to modify your registration information online after it has been completed. In order to make changes to your registration information at this time, please contact the event registration service." Has anyone else received this message? I will call Disney tomorrow but I am impatient and don't want to wait until 9am if someone else has a solution for this problem. Any suggestions?

Same message. Yesterday, I spent all day on the phone. My annual pass is linked to my MM band, but found out. I needed a discount card. Disney Events got it straightened out late yesterday afternoon. I just got home, sat down to place my order and "the message". The cut off for pre-order is next week. I've already spent one morning, plus most of another day on the phone with Disney problems. This is getting old.

Am I the only one disappointed in the 'new' pattern by VB for Disney? It just looks like a regular print but with a mickey head tossed into it. I LOVED the original two prints; the character made it. Now I'm not interested in buying any of the VB products.

It IS just a regular print with a mickey head tossed into it. VB released Flower shower on their website/stores last month... then added mickey heads for the Disney part that will be offered at the event... I wouldn't be surprised if they unveil Flutterby and Petal Paisley at the Perfect Petals brunch event, with Mickey's on them....

I'm sorry for your troubles (it sounds like you have had to put in far too much work), but I'm glad to hear the cut off for pre orders is not until next week. Hopefully they will be able to get everything figured out. I was worried the bags had already sold out so hopefully this is just a blip in their system.

I have one of the totes in the "Where's Mickey?" pattern, and I love it! It was based on the Lola pattern, but they changed the colors altogether for the Disney version and I think the hidden Mickey's are really fun! I love the blue and green. I carry it to work everyday and just pointed out the Mickey heads to a co-worker the other day. Of the two original patterns I really like the Midnight with Mickey pattern and will probably pick up something in that next month when I am WDW.

We saw Midnight Mickey and Where's Mickey several places last week. All the main shops in each park as well as the resort gift shop (WL).

Thank you for your kind words. We've vacationed regularly in WDW for almost 35 years. I have NEVER had so many problems with reservations, tickets, etc. I'm not finding MY DIsney Experience very Magical.

I was not told, that supplies were low or the pattern was sold out. The CM only informed me, that they would honor my Ap discount. I will be VERY unhappy, if the pre-sale has ended, without notice.

See, for me, it isn't worth it for the money if that's all they're going to do to the print. Actually put the darn character on the bag, or don't make them! I can buy the same print minus the Mickey head through my friend who gets 50% retail from working at VB. If I want it that bad, I'll buy it that way. But I don't want it that bad.

When I saw Midnight with Mickey and Just Mousin' Around, I thought, "Oh my gosh, they're going to make bags with different characters on them! How soon until they do an orange and yellow paisley print with Pooh holding a honey pot on it?" and I got so freaking excited. These new prints have wiped out my excitement and totally upset me.

Alright, I'm done whining. Grumble.

Hmmm..nice to know, that I paid a premium price to shop in the Vera Bradley Store at the luncheon.

BTW..the merchandise site for preorders is back up. It was just a glitch in the system.

Totally agree. VB should have created something new for the Disney line.. especially considering it has created such a demand... I expected more from them..

I just spoke with Merchandise in the parks this morning (looking for a where's mickey hipster) and was told that they are sold out and won't be able to get any. Yet I hear several of you have seen them in the parks as recently as yesterday? Does anyone know if Mousegears will ship directly to you or do you have to go thru the Merchandise dept?

I was in the parks this weekend and MouseGears had two patterns for sale (I also saw some in magic kingdom but didn't spot them in other parks). A cast member was putting a few bags on display and told a guest who was thinking about waiting a few days to purchase that she should buy now because the bags would sell out fast. Now, keep in mind cast members don't always have complete or accurate information, but I can't imagine these bags will last too long, especially with easter crowds and people getting up to 20% off with those coupons that come when you buy a quick service meal.

This is purely a guess - I have no proof to back this up - I am just guessing here, but I could see the Perfect Petals brunch being the last chance to buy the previous patterns. I wouldn't be surprised if what is in the shops now is the last of what's available. Again, this is only a guess and I could be completely wrong.

I'm hopeful that a few new (and more readily available) designs are shown at the brunch.

I just called and they told me several shops have them but they can't ship to home. I'm so frustrated. We were there not even a month ago and couldn't find one. My daughter had only this on her birthday list and no such luck. I wish it were easier to get one.��

If you are on Facebook, join the Disney Vera Bradley Lovers page. There are wonderful people there who go to the parks and ship the bags to you. They are great, and the pricing is excellent.
