Whats going on end of April?

Everything is booked up for the end of April. Trying to make reservations for WL April 24-28 and there is no availability. Tried other resorts and everything is booked. Is there something special going on?

I'm not sure how it is elsewhere in New Jersey, but my son's school has spring break that last week of April (i.e., he's off from school April 22-26). So we'll be in WDW then, coincidentally at the Wilderness Lodge!

Nothing special that I know of. Maybe because a lot of the discounts start on April 21? Are you booking with a discount? I am interested to find out of it is just the discounted rooms that are full or are all the rooms full.

We will be there April 21 - 27. Gonna be another busy week.

I posted this same question over on theme park strategies board. The hotels are sold out for that week, not just the discount rooms! I don't know how crowded it will be , but lets hope if everything is a sell out, they'll give us some EE nights or early entry! Nothing special seems to be going on, but with a few of the resorts closed and the discounts being offered, I guess everyones trying for this time frame. We'll be there April 25 - May 2.

found out the First Robotics Championship is in epcot 4/25-4/27, its a big event with kids from around the US, who compete in teams in a robotic design challenge. its also on learning channel. from what i found out on the website, they have a choice of moderates, all stars or offsite hotels.I found this out here http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm scroll down towards the middle of the page.
we'll be at BWV week of the 21st, i'm hoping they will extend the park hours!

Is this the event that they will be presenting the Segways that they auctioned off?

That would be cool to see.

*** I just looked it up. The three bidders that spent over $100,000 each for their new toy will be presented them at EPCOT during the FIRST Championships.

not sure about that, but this will be very cool for my son to see! he is 12-watches the show on tv all the time..it really is so cool to see the inventions the teams created, and how they compete. So, he is all happy now-I get to see flowers, he and dad get to see robots!

We'll be there from April 21-27 (due to the beginning of discount $$ time). Friends of mine tried to book and had no luck. They were told last week that rooms were still available without discounts.

I've been checking for EE nights. WDW is having grad nights during the last couple weeks of April. I think we may be out of luck!
