Whats going on at CP on Dec 5?

This is THE day we had planned to see CP (dec. 5), I have never seen it and my favorite actor is the speaker. We booked an extra day just to stay and see it and now the sites say there is only one show and you cannot reserve a package for it. What is going on that day, press event maybe? Can "common folk" even see that showing? I am REALLY disappointed because this has sort of become a highlight of this years trip. What have past years been like when there is only one showing and no reservations available? Is it worth seeing if you are not seated in the Pavilion? If so where do you go? Its too early to be stressing over trip details......

They do that the first Sunday of December every year. I heard they reserve the show for church groups. Last year it was just the 5:00 show that was reserved, we got a package for the 6:45.

This year is says there will only be one show total on that day. I am so confused

From reading Deb Wills site, the show is 3 times that night, you just can not buy the package for the 5:00 show on 12/5

Candlelight show times are 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. with there only being ONE performance on December 5th

That is the statement that is throwing me off and its on the DIS page. Is there a number I could call for more info? Deb's site just mentions no package available for that time, the DIS says that is the only show, but doesn't mention that there is no package for it.

You can call 407-WDW-DINE but I'm not sure they have the info loaded into their computers yet. Maybe ask for a supervisor.

WOOO-HOOO! I just called and spoke to the most FRIENDLY CM and the 5:00 show is blocked off for press, but the other shows are open for the package.
