what's going on at BWV???

We were very lucky yesterday to secure some nights at BWV next week and was wondering what's new? Just read some posts about renovations. Any new updates out there? We will be at OKW for 2 nights, then a 1-br (1st time) pv at BWV for 3 nights, then a SV BWV studio for 3 nights. We hated to move so much but were just so glad to be able to get back to BWV that we didn't care till we heard about the mess there Oh well, think positive, right! Any thing else going on? We haven't been there in 2 years I think. Thanks!

We just got back from 6 nights in a sv 1-bedroom. There are renovations going on at BWV, but they interferred hardly at all with our vacation. Scaffolding is up over the rooms overlooking the Luna Park pool and over those above Big River Grille. They were also painting the hallway that we were in. However, it seemed to me that the went out of their way to disguise the construction as much as possible and it really was no inconvenience whatsoever. HTH...

We stayed in a 1BR at BWV last month....directly across the hallway from our room they were renovating the exterior of those rooms. We never heard a peep.

And they put white mesh over the scaffolding so it didn't look offensive at all. I didn't see anything that I would describe as a "mess".

I wouldn't worry about the refurbishing one bit. We had a wonderful stay there.

Thanks for the input Jecca and Granny. I wasn't too worried and I have been there when they were working on the inn so I did see what a great job they do in hiding it. Another post made it sound a little bad. Any new vendors on the boardwalk? Can't wait to check out the new BCV, and that 1-br for the 1st time.
