We went 2 years ago, loved it. Had a dress up night and trick or treating. Different characters out that night too as well as a "tree lighting cermony". We did Mickey's Not So Scary Party at WDW afterwards too so it was multiple uses of our costumes.
We were on a Fantasy Eastern Halloween on the High seas cruise in 2015. I don't remember the exact order, but we dressed up three nights in a row for formal night, pirate night, and the Halloween festivities. Wearing regular clothes to dinner after that felt strange...
