Since I'm on kinda a food thing today...
I was going to make BLTs for dinner out of the last of the summer tomatoes...BUT it's turning off cold so I think I'll make chili (red w/beans) instead. I'll chop up the tomatoes and use for a garnish with shredded cheddar cheese. I'll probably do cornbread too. Drinks: With chili, it's gotta be beer and soda so that's a no brainer -- I'm thinking Modela Negro and plain ole Co-Cola. (none of that stinkin' P-beverage here!)
Thinking about? ...hmm...our next trip to WDW is never far from my thoughts. The boys and I are camping at the Fort. My oldest son, DDIL and their tribe of wild yahoos (um...lovely children) are on our reservation too -- although for practical reasons -- they are actually going to stay off-site most nights. They showed me the website for the hotel they are looking at and the rooms have the cutest little kid's roomettes attached -- affording some privacy for the adults. I'm surprised Disney hasn't adopted the same idea
I think we'll probably bring a crockpot (there's that food obsession again) with us so we can do some fun meals at the campsite. I need to get with the sewing on the much discussed Cinderella dress this weekend since I finally have all the sparkly doo-dads assembled in one place. The ADR has been made (Ka-ching!!! $$$119.00 for two adults, one child, and a baby in advance) for the girls to all join Cindy for Breakfast on our first day. Oooooh, it's gonna be fun!!!!!

(Petunia's are a great winter plant for Florida)
How has the weather been? We lived in Longview, Washington for 3 years and loved it up there. So green and mild.
I don't cook.
I guess THAT is what I should have replied, but I should have said it the same day I got the e-mail.
It has a sugar-cookie crust, 2.5 lbs of sliced Granny Smith apples, ginger, cinnamon and carmel sauce baked in, then it is topped with a crumb toping and drizzled with icing to finish. Can't wait to try it!
(actually I DO feel your pain -- kinda sounds like me and all those dang tomatoes this summer)
