Whatever happened to The Tag Fairy?

Has anybody received a tag from The Tag Fairy lately?

How long do you have to be here before she pays you a visit? Or does she go by post count?

Guess I will never get a tag...........sigh

The tag fairy puts funny colorful tags under your Dis username. Nobody knows who she or he is. She strikes at random and you never know what she will say.

If you look at other people's posts and you some that have sayings in color underneath their username, it was put there by the tag fairy.

I was wondering myself, but I didn't want to say anything because I don't want to seem desperate for a tag! I know she'll strike someday... I don't know how, I don't know when... but somehow I DO know that I am going to regret saying something stupid.

I've been here for over a year, over 1700 posts, no tag fairy. Others were here two months and got tags.

The Tag Fairy doesn't frequent the VMK boards much.
I got my tags on the CB. But since I'm rarely over there, I have never gotten another one.

I've seen so many tag worthy posts on the VMK board but the TF has never seen them.

The TF also pays no attention to post count or how long a person has been a member.

I've seen some who just joined with very few posts get tagged and those that have been on DIS for many years and have tons of posts with no tag.

My tag was gotten when I least expected it... In every closing thread I usually put something a little witty (having to do with cheese, of course), and nothing happened until I just posted a common phrase that I usually say in VMK at night that I didn't even think was that funny.

"Goodnight, sleep tight, dream of cheese tonight!"

I'm a little curious to know how the tag fairy knew my favorite color is green, though... I think she spies on people before she strikes Kinda creepy.
