I know they were testing alowing more than one active FP at a time at EPCOT a little while ago. Does anyone know what ever came of that? Can you still get multiple FPs?

I'm not sure about any test programs, but I know you can always get another FastPass after the time posted at the bottom of your first FP. When we were at Epcot last I had 4 FPs ea. for Test Track and Soarin'.

This was different from the standard next FP time option. At one point a few months ago, you were allowed to have two FPs without having to wait to get the second one.

I don't know anything about current policies, but on several of our visits, they have been doing something similar. Also, when we went to DL and DCA they were doing the same thing. It was not ANY two or more fastpasses, it was particular ones. And we had a long talk with a castmember about it last visit. His suggestion was essentially "It doesn't hurt to try!" In other words, even if a multiple fastpass program is not being advertised, it can never hurt to stick your pass into a FP machine at an attraction even if you don't think you are eligible for a new FP yet. You might be pleasantly surprised!

A few years ago (not sure if this is still prevalent) the time for next fast pass varied depending on which ride the next fast pass was for. I think this is the mechanism whereby for Lights Motors at MGM you could get its fast pass about five minutes before or unadvertisedly and reciprocally five minutes after getting a fast pass for something else.

Sticking your ticket in a fast pass machine of another desired ride half way to the next fast pass time shown on your previous fast pass is worth a try if that ride is not exceptionally busy. (Like one hour later if you were supposed to wait two hours.) Doing it sooner is probably a waste of time based on odds (probabilities). If you are rejected, the system will parrot the next fast pass time on the fast pass you have, instead of giving you a hint.

The "test" the OP is referring to was run for just one month at Epcot, in May, 2005, when each separate FP attraction acted as if it was on its own "FP Network," and the system allowed you to get an FP at one attraction, followed immediately by another FP at any other attraction. This test has since been discontinued.

We visitied DL a few years ago and if you stayed in the one of the Dis Hotels, you could get multiple fast passes at the same time. It was great! We'd ride a bunch, then take a break, and I would make a FP collection run and stock up for the next round of rides.
