Just finished Hit List by Laurell K Hamilton and starting Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris.

and Sherlock Holmes in book form because I don't like to take my kindle to work.

I am currently reading and researching India. At present, a book about the history. And also a book about Gandhi. It is mainly for my Indy tiny tales in my weather thread. Don't ask, one just needs to go with the flow. That being the flow of the mighty Ganges River of course!

I'm currently in the middle of "The Help". I too, cannot put it down...it is great! I am sure I'll finish it by the end of the weekend, hopefully I will not get soooo engrossed that I will be able to fit in some laundry into my busy reading schedule.

Me too! But when I'm not on here reading up a storm I do far too much reading! Right now I am reading "Room". Has anyone else read this book. I have to say, I am dumbfounded...

Actually it was that, then another fortune cookie. Then after lunch, I was studying the three refuse bins at a local grocery store. And you know.... when I want to throw something away, I don't want to have to feel like I should have studied for a quiz first!
If it is this and that, put it here, not this not that, put it there, if you have this, this and more of this... then put it here instead. Really! Next time I will just take my garbage with me, it will take a whole lot less time! he he no really!

I get my books on my ipad. The last one I just finished is "Left to tell". Similar storyline as Anne Frank, but a lady who survived the genocide in Rwanda. Best book I have read in a long time. A must read.

Right now I'm working on Walt Disney the Triumph of the American Imagination. So far I'm only in Walt's childhood, it's pretty dry, but the friend I borrowed it from says it gets way better the more I read on.

Well I finished ROOM, and its nothing like I have ever read before! If you have children, its a must read! I am now onto Little Bee by Chris Cleave. Unsure of this one, kind of trudging through the beginning, I may not make it!!!

I just looked up Room to see what it was about and it sounds like a hard book to read. I don't think I could handle it.
