Just an add on to my previous post-if someone would be interested in trading a couple of books with me I would like to trade "The Real Deal" and "The Brethren" together. Just send me a PM.
I read some light, easy reading books over the Christmas break such as The Notebook, Light on Snow, and now I am reading Mary, Mary. I usually read children's novels when school is in session. I read Hoot just before the break.
I would have to say I liked "Confessions" better. "Mirror, Mirror" had historical figures in it, which made it seem to me a little farther off from the original fairy tale. Cinderella is also my favorite princess!

Thank you Pollito! Historical figures... that's interesting! Well I suppose it doesn't really matter which we read first since we plan to read them both anyway. Maybe I'll just toss a coin!
I loved Odd Thomas but I was disappointed in Forever Odd. I would be interested to know what you think.
I also read A Million Little Pieces and found it to be interesting but I tend to believe that much of it was fiction rather than a true memoir. Some of what Frey describes in totally lacking in credibility.
