yikes! okay..since I just found out there are no characters at Ohana for dinner...i'm going to have to change my ADR and don't know where to go? do you have any suggestions? that day we will do AK in the morning/afternoon and we don't have park hoppers....so where would you suggest to eat? i'd say ohana for breakfast but it an EMH morning so I don't think we'd be able to get there for rope drop. thanks!

You could go to Chef Mickey's for dinner if it's characters you want and you need to be outside the parks. :)

~ You can try 1900 Park Fare at The Grand Floridian..the food is good and the characters are really interactive..

The characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Druscilla & Anastasia (evil stepsisters)~ Have a great trip!

i second chef mickey's....great time !! our fav character meal actually.

Well, you could do Donald's Safari for Breakfast if you wanted to be in the park for breakfast but with it being EMH that morning, you would still lose time.

I would go with previous posters and say CM or 1900 Park Faire.

my first thought was chef mickeys also.

I would do Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare for a great character dinner.

She has three boys. Not that there's anything wrong with boys going to a princess meal, but I'm just sayin'......:)

Thanks for the help...problem is we're already doing CM and LTT on our MK days...so I guess we could do 1900 PF...we did it last trip and enjoyed it, it's just that we were hoping to do something different this time and explore a new resort..oh well.

I would do a late reservation at Tusker House at Donald's Safari breakfast. Have a granola bar or other snack in the room. Get to AK at rope drop and do a few things. Then a late breakfast at 10:30 at Tusker House. The food there is very good and the characters look very cute in their safari outfits. We were in and out of there pretty quickly so you won't spend too much touring time. We went to AK on a 9am opening day. We were there for rope drop. We right to the Safari and rode it. Walked one of the trails. Met Terk from Tarzan and were still at Tusker House by about 10:10.

:surfweb: Don't forget about Rainforest Cafe. Although it is not the traditional character dining, it has a very cool atmosphere that appeals to children of all ages, and although it doesnt take the ddp, they do serve lunch and dinner. Also the Yak & Yeti are at AK. They are a 1ts meal and they do take ADR's just like Rainforest.

What about Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge. I don't know if you have been over there before, we love the resort. The restaurant isn't character, but the waiters joke around and the kids ride hobby horses around the restaurant. It can be rather loud, but your three boys might think it's great fun!
