Explorer's Christmas Dinner Buffet at HKDL

Hoping someone here might have the answer-- has anybody done the Explore's Christmas Dinner Buffet or signed up for it? It comes with reserved seating for Momentus. Before booking, the options said 6-7:30PM, but after booking the time just says 6:00PM. Can I show up at any time before 7:30? It appears to be a buffet, and I don't think we'll need more than 20-30m. Our flight lands at HKG at 4:30, so dropping our stuff at the hotel and making it to the park by 6:00 is going to be very tight unless immigration is seamless.

Christmas is just the event menu and session timing. The process generally doesn't change from season to season.

They should start seating people at 6PM so it's fine to be a little bit late. But it's a semi-buffet so you actually need time for them to prepare your main course and then eat. I don't remember the "last order" cutoff time but you definitely want to be there more than 30 minutes before the end of the session.
