What would YOU put here?

when I moved here the woman had a large mirror here but I think a mirror there is not only unsafe but looks meh what would you guys put here?

Honestly, nothing. Your style is pretty ornate and there's already a lot going on within eyeshot of the space (the little mirror to the right and the framed textile to the left, for example). It's fine to have a bit of blank space; it gives more impact to the other elements. Is there a particular reason you feel it needs something?

I wouldn't put anything there, there is alot of architectural things going on already that I don't think you need to put anything there.

I'd also put nothing but since you can see the the outline where something was you'll need to clean or paint that wall.

I don't like a bunch of things on the walls. I would put in a nice crown molding and take the other stuff, like what is above the door, down. There is a lot of stuff going on in that little space already.

I've just looked at it again closely and I don't think that's what it is. It appears to me to be a drywall seam and it's probably more-or-less noticeable based on the lighting.
