What would you do?

My dd's dad agreed to buy mine and my dd's tickets for the parks this year as long as I promised to bring her back Christmas day ( he is not going)....including an AP for me because it saved me quite a bit on the room and I am on a pretty tight budget. Here is my question...we arrive the 19th, early morning, and check-in at POR and then I planned to head over to DD because we are going to MVMCP that night. I know that we are going to be freaking out to go to the MK but I thought since we were going that night we would wait and that would save a day on my dd's pass. IF we do that I only need for him to purchase a 6 day hopper for her not a 7 day, but there is the chance we will be so enticed by MK it would be hard to resist. Would you stick with the plan to buy the 6 day or go for the 7 day hopper? I know there is not that much difference but I just felt with him doing this and being so generous, saving him even a little would be the right thing to do. Please give me your opinion...we are planning to buy them here at the Disney store this week.

I would get the six day and save the money. How much time would you really have to spend at MK during the day??

I would stick with the 6 day also. My family also arrive on the 19th and have tickets to MVMCP. Our 1st party. Can't wait.

I would also purchase the 6 day. You and DD will have a better time at MVMCP if you are both well rested. I'd recommend a good nap for both of you in the afternoon. Don't underestimate the effects of traveling and walking around in the MK (or anywhere in the World) all day. IMHO, you will be glad you rested before the party!

Thank you!! The 6 day it is!! Now I just have to pray that POR has a room ready in time for us to take a nap before dinner and MVMCP!!
We are really excited. Thanks for all the help. I know walking around DD all day we will be tired anyway.
