I'm firmly in the "longer is better" camp - so I'd go for the 7 night over the 5 night. And it's only $100 for the extra 2 days.

I heard the 2017 prices were released and signed on to DCL site to see what else was disembarking from NY. I couldn't believe the price I was seeing. I kept thinking I was missing something but the TA confirmed. Now it's just the matter of a decision.

thank you all for the responses. I am emailing my TA now to switch our Canadian cruise to 2017. The room we originally selected is gone now but there are others

Latest update - while looking around the DCL site I found that if we shifted slightly into the back of the ship the price went down $60. So BOOKED into 2610 for 2017 October 21 Canadian cruise 7D w/ 2 more stops for $3,829.92.

Thanks for the support - it will be a longer wait but it will be worth is

Congrats! I think you made the right decision. I was also looking at both the 5nt vs 7nt. The 7nt was only $1000 more for 2A2C ($5500 vs $6500) so we went w/ the extra days... at $300 difference, I would have changed on the spot!!
