I had all my ADR's set up but then thought maybe I should reserve Fantasmic Pkg if I could get one. We have two 4 yr olds. The only night I could get is our 2nd day visiting DHS.

We already have a ADR for 50's PTC at 1:25pm and I got an ADR for Fantasmic Pkg at HV for 5:00pm (the latest available at the time). I can get 50's PTC moved to 11:30 or 12:30 but we have to seperate into 3 groups (one adult and one child each).

This would save us waiting a long time to see Fantasmic, but what if it get's cancelled then we don't get to see it at all!

Should I try to see Fantasmic the first night and if we do cancel the ADR for the package. Or just keep it and watch again.

Also we would have to pay out of pocket for one meal as with the Fantasmic Pkg. I am now over our 14 TS credits. I could pay out of pocket for either Sci fi or 50's Prime Time.

What would you do? The rest of the group have not seen Fantasmic. I last saw it in 2000.

TIA

What time of year are you going? I would keep the ressies you have, the seating at Fantasmic is almost always better away from the package people, and we have never not gotten in.

Sept. 5-19th. Going to DHS on Sept.8th and 15th. We don't have hoppers and both are EMH nights.

I'd keep the 50's Primetime reservation and just plan to arrive at the Fantasmic theatre early - snacks in hand.

Thanks.

I tried to get a Fantasmic Package for the first night we are there but it was completly full. I don't want to risk missing Fantamic.

I guess we will go the first night and get there early with some snacks for the kids.

I was happy with all the ADR's I had. Just saw lots of posts about the Fantasmic Package and thought I should try and get it, not all that impressed with the buffet items listed at Hollywood and Vine anyway.

Personally I would skip 50's all together. With it being EMH it is going to be crowded those nights. But if your 4 yos don't have a problem waiting than it might work. My kids were very bored last year so we opted to try the package this year (have almost the same dates as you). It really would depend on your family.
