What would you do?

Ok, I like most others here I am wishin' and hopin' for that free dining to come out (I was there during the time that the bounceback was offered but I wasn't offered it and I didn't find out about it until we got back - anyway)

We currently have POFQ booked for 6 nights in Sept with the DDP (yes, I was lucky enough to get in on the 40% off.) The total cost right now is $1,5xx. I was thinking if free dining came out, it would be a good opportunity to switch to AKL or WL for about what I am paying now.
OR I could keep POFQ and save $600.
OR I could "downgrade" to POP or another AS resort and save about $900!

The money is already budgeted for the trip so I defintitely want to keep it under $2,000
(so the Poly is out )

So what would you do? Or what are you planning to do if free dining comes out?

Personally, I'd keep POFQ and save the $600 ~ it looks like a beautiful resort and the savings would be awesome! Here's to hoping for Free Dining!!

Can I assume you did not pay for dining? If you did, you must tell me how you got that great deal, because I am paying for 7 nights at ASMU with dining coming in at just over $2,000 with 40% off the room.

In answer to your question, and with the fact that I am already planning on a value room, I would save the 900 dollars!

I did pay for dining. I'm assuming the difference is probably in our tickets (or members of our party - I have 2A and 2C). I only got 1 day base tickets as some of us have tickets left over from other trips. I'll just upgrade the tickets of those who need them when they arrive. (I never understand paying for all that extra on tickets 45 days before arrival anyway.)

I'm leaning towards staying at POFQ and saving the $600 WHEN free dining comes out (got think positively!) I would really like to stay there and my mom and I stayed at POP last year during free dining. Plus I think my boys will really love the slide at POFQ. I'm even thinking of a split stay between POFQ and AK. I'll still get the 1 day passes in order to get the free dining - I'll just upgrade those on our trip next year
