What would you do?

Here's the backstory (this is going to be long):

I am planning a trip with my friends (there will be 7 adults and a 1 y/o total) for Memorial Day weekend of this year. We are currently planning on going down on Thursday, 2 adults and the baby leaving on Monday, and the rest staying until Wednesday. The other cannot take any more days off, but I have extras, so I was playing with the airfare.

For me to go down a day early, it would save me $80 on airfare. It would cost me $20 for the rental car for an extra day (which I would pay) and then the cost of the hotel (staying at a value resort when the AP rates come out). It would most likely be less than $30 for the extra day. My admission is covered with the AP.

What would YOU do? I would have to pick everyone up at the airport around 8 PM, so I could get basically a full day in and get to do Expedition Everest several times. I could also just spend the day sleeping in and maybe going to DTD. Oh, I really can't make a decision!

So, this being the decision, what would YOU do?

This is a no-brainer. A day early in disney?, nuff said. Go early.

How about looking into doing one of the tours they offer? That might give you a chance to do something you would not otherwise get to do with a crowd.

I would definitely go down a day early and do something none of the others would want to do, like a tour or something else.

I didn't even think of the tours. I did the KTTK when I was there with my friend in Nov and had fun. Would the Segway tour be fun on your own?

I definetly say go down a day early and as others said check into the tours. I've done 2 on my own, and they have been a total blast.

Aren't they still doing the free airport pick up magical express thingy? I don't know, we drive.

There would be free airport pickup, but since we are renting 2 cars, everyone will not fit into the one car, especially with the car seat and all the baby stuff. I'm still undecided as to what to do. I have done a theme park alone before, but that was a special circumstance since I was halfway around the world...
