We have 3 rooms at ASSP....a parents room, a girls room, and a boys room.

Due to my being stupid the current setup has:

1. Me (mom) and 1 girl (14) in one room hopefully connecting to:
2. Son (17 but the CM "made" him 18) and other girl (14)
3. Husband and son (18) in the last room.

Dont even ask how/why this got like this...I think it was because I wanted access to the 3rd room (sons) and wanted to keep tabs on their dining credits but now I just want them the way I originally had them....parents, girls and boys.....

I have read that at the checkin counter I can change whatever room to whichever people I want (remember son is 18 so can be the adult in the 3rd room).....

Would you change it at checkin or do it now.....I am thinking if I dont do it now I wont be able to do online checkin as they would have everything all ready (room keys) if I do that.

I was also thinking that online checkin would probably give us our best shot at having 2 connecting with 1 adjoining room though.......

Soooooooo....change the names now or at check in?

I don't think you can change it now. Disney won't let you have a room with no adult listed on it, which is what you would have if you put the 2 girls together.

If there are not any connecting rooms available, you will not be able to change it, even at check-in.

You should be able to get the keys setup to enter any of the rooms. I once was on a trip with 3 other women, we were right next to each other but not connecting, our keys could open either room.

That I know.....originally I was in one room with one girl and my husband was to be in the "hopefully" connecting room with the other.

This I did not know......once I get the rooms to have the occupants the way we want (the 2 boys together) we will ask to have our keys made to open their room.

Now should I change it now so I can check in online, check in online and see if the person at that counter can switch our keys to have the "correct" names on them or just go to the regular check in line......

If you are going to swtich the keys around you may as well just check in at the resort. It may be easier for the CM to take care of that way.
