With the high cost of inflation in VMK recently, What would be a FAIR increase in the NPCs daily payout?

They have added fur additional NPC over the years adding between 80 - 160 additional credits depending on if you double dip and an additional mix station adding between 25-50 credits per visit. It is not intended to be a stapple sourse of income, more of an allowance if you do your chores. Therefore I feel the amount is fair ATM, I would however accept a new NPC ;)

Unfortunatly many of the kids don't even have the patience to collect their daily allowance now.

as being the "kinda sorta newbie" - cough - what is npc? - cough -

I think an increase of 50 credits per NPC would be fair. With my daughter being young she really has a hard time earning decent credits for her character. She is good at Jungle Cruise but it doesn't pay hardly any credits. I usually have to end up playing fireworks for her character so she can earn enough money to buy the items. It was really hard to get all the Christmas items.

I agree with 50, if the number of new items and the amount they cost are going to stay steady. If VMK was geared toward adults, then I would say no increase - the challenge of it really is just about right for adults. But since it's supposed to be, first and foremost, a game for children, there needs to be a bit more leeway. Kids who aren't lucky enough to have parents and grandparents who are willing to earn credits for them don't stand a chance of getting very much of what comes out. Especially kids whose parents restrict the amount of time they spend playing computer games. It isn't even close to possible for a child who's allowed to spend, at most, an hour a day on the computer (my son's limit, and he doesn't even get to be on every day) to buy all, or even most, of the items.

I do want to make it clear that I am NOT complaining about the number of new items we're getting...I think it's fantastic! But I do think they should be either less expensive, or stay in the stores longer to give the kiddoes a chance to collect them, too. An NPC increase would help.

I don't know, I kinda think that a better pay would be either 30 or 40, 50 would be a little to much for 9 NPC's making a whopping 450 daily credits, and that's before you do things like make a remix/song and play a song

I agree that an increase would be a great help to kids. I know my daughter would rather spend her computer time visiting her vmk friends than out making credits. So I always do her credit run and then play some mansion to earn them for her. But I think of the kids whose parents don't play vmk and also those playing on slower computers......before we got our new computer it was impossible to play songs or to play any of the games, so credits were very scarce then.
{So I chose 50}

I dont' think there should be an increase from the NPC. If people go around and collect their points every day, as well as get their points from the music mixes in the monorail and at the music mix lobby, that's 325 credits a day (that's hitting ned, blackheart, the dragon, yeti, esmerelda, the 3 ghosts, gator waiter, and the music). By the end of the week, you have 2275 credits.

I agree, I don't think an increase is necessary, but a little extra once in a while would be nice.

And also it would be nice not to have to wait so long for the ghosts to appear.

Maybe my math is off, but I think it's 280 credits a day, not 325, if you do all that once each, meaning about 1960 credits per week (which, imo, is not a lot considering that a lot of things on VMK cost 1,000 or 2,000 credits to buy) :confused3 There's 9 NPCs including the ghosts that give out 20 credits each, which amounts to 180. If you play 1 song and "re-mix" 1 song at both the monorail and the Street Party Music Game, you get 25 credits for each, times 4 for doing each thing = 100. 180+100=280. Am I missing something??

I would love to see an increase in credits for NPC's :thumbsup2 My only source of income is from NPC's as I can't play the games, though I do Ned sometimes.

If VMK made prices a little more reasonable on the items there might not be a need for an increase. Why they felt the need to charge 2,000 credits for some of the holiday hats, I just don't understand.:scared1:

An increase would be great.

Sometimes real life takes up too much time, taking away from game time. I find that I never have an opportunity to really do any room building or learn the fun of trading. I am alway too busy earning credits to buy items that I don't build rooms with or trade.

You sound exactly like me.
