What were your cake flavors??

We had chocolate cake w/ raspberry mousse filling and yellow cake with amaretto mousse filling.

The chocolate/raspberry was delicious, but the yellow/amaretto was incredible!

There is a set of basic flavors they bring you. Cake was - chocolate, yellow, almond, marble

and the fillings were - bavarian cream, buttercream, amaretto mousse, raspberry mousse, dark mousse, white chocolate, tropical mousse.

We requested red velvet, cream cheese frosting and peanut butter cup frosting.


We chose, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and marble cake with raspberry mousse.

Any email I send to my planner I also CC it to her assistant. I got a reply back almost immediately from Jessie, her assistant, that she would let the GF bakery know. So I sent an email to my planner but that's only because I had already sent in the planning packet.

I had a hard time choosing between all the flavors at the PS! Luckily DF was very strong on his opinions about the cake. It's actually the ONLY thing DF has had an opinion about so far in the wedding planning!

Bottom Layer: Chocolate cake with Raspberry Mousse w/fresh raspberries
Middle Layer: Almond cake with Bailey's Mousse
Top Layer: Yellow cake with Tropical Mousse

we are having marble cake with white chocolate and marble with bavarian cream!

We had Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Mousse for our bottom later and Yellow Cake with Strawberry Mousse for the top.

Both were SOOO good, I can't pick a favorite! I liked them both for different reasons. The Chocolate cake, was some of the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten, and the Yellow with the Strawberry Mousse, was very refreshing!

Also the Buttercream icing was amazing, I even liked the fondant taste and I don't really like fondant

we chose almond with bavarian for bottom layer and chocolate with raspberry for top layer it was fun tasting them all and they were good!

Did they charge you extra for red velvet?! We LOVE red velvet cake but did not know it was an option!
