Title says it all...

Now if you find them all you get the Gold Collection

Back in the good old days was there a prize for finding them all?

There was something before the Insider Tour because I finished the quest before they put out the Insider Tour coupon. I remember because I had wanted that prize. I think it was just credits before there was the Insider Tour coupon.

Yes, it was the certificate to the Insider tour. We got two of them and took them to the park last December. Unfortunately we were given incorrect information and was told that the tours had stopped. We found out later that they continued on until the middle of December. Instead our certificates were taken and we were given Gold Collections instead. To date, I am still missing a VIP badge for one of my girls. Oh well.

Yes, originally it was just 500 credits (if my old, lame brain remembers correctly ;))

And the hidden Mickey pins, of course !!

Are the original hidden mickey pins tradeable? Because I really want to complete my pin collection and, though those are low on my list of priorities, I'd like to get them in the future.

I got the Gold Set but I would rather have had the Insider Tour. Were the prizes the same for the first and second Hidden Mickey Quests?

At first the hidden mickeys gave no prize besides some credits and the pins (they are tradable). Later they added the link for the VIP Insider Tour PDF. The credits paid were not even enough to cover the cost of film, once it was increased to its present cost.

When they opened all of Frontierland and made all new hidden mickeys they increased the credit prizes a lot, changed the look of the prize pins, and retained the VIP Insider Tour PDF. Once the tour was discontinued, they changed the PDF to the gold collection.

I would recommend that everybody do the hidden mickey hunt now. Not only do you get the pins and the gold collection if you can get the PDF redeemed, but you also come away with a nice credit profit.

As an added note: If you do the 50th Mickey Quest (found through the Q icon) first you will get 300 credits and a roll of film (5 shots). This is enough credits to buy a camera, get your first hidden mickey, and the credit prize for getting that first.

Yes I believe the original quest pins are still tradeable, and if you would like to meet me in vmk sometime, I have the original bronze, and I think silver. Perhaps we can work out a deal
