I am already planning for next year and I was wondering what the least crowded week in Oct was this year. We would love to do MNSSHP and also plan to try Hoop Dee Doo and I need to make a ressie for that, now. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

:teeth: We have already done that once, well actually twice last year in Sept, I can't handle that stress again!

We just went Oct. 28th -31st weekend and I was worried that it would be crowded but it wasn't at all. Space Mt, Splash Mt, Big Thunder Mt. were all walk ons. We got fastpasses for TOT and Rock n Roller Coaster and the CM just told us to save them b/c it was a walk on.

Only line we saw was in the middle of the afternoon for Soarin', but that's expected.

I would go again anytime in October. It was a little chilly swimming at Typhoon Lagoon, so maybe next time I would go earlier in the month, but the weather was beautiful!

We were also there the last week, 10/25 - 10/30. We walked on every ride, even during the PM EMH at MK. We went to MNSSHP on 10/27, which was a Thurs. night, and also walked on every ride. This was the week right after Wilma, but it still wasn't crowded.

We were there the 3rd week in October for our fall break. The weekends were very crowded and weekdays were crowded. ASMu was practically empty from Tuesday through mid-day Friday. Reports from the previous week were pretty much the same, so we had an idea of what to expect. This was far, far different from our experience the previous year!! Still, we had a lot of fun, and the weather was great; so I'm sure will return at the same time next year.

We were there the last week of October, and 2 years ago we were there the last week of October...both times it was so crowded! If we didn't have a timeshare every other year for the last week of October, we probably wouldn't go during that time again.

I guess it boils down to your interpretation of "crowded." Last year, we went the first week of October. While crowds did pick up by the Columbus Day weekend, we felt that, overall, the park was LESS crowded than our previous stay the first week of December. And we'd read that the first week of December was supposed to be one of the least crowded weeks of the year. We used Fastpass as needed, but were able to do everything we wanted to do, plus some extras in all of the parks.

Our fall break week has shifted for next year, and we'll be going Oct. 6-14. We'll be beginning our trip at Columbus Day weekend, rather than ending it. Therefore, I expect a few more people then. We plan to use Fastpass and also to enjoy our resort more.

The nice thing about October is that it's still warm enough to swim, but it's not sweltering. We loved it and are thrilled to be going back next Oct.

Have fun planning!
Christy

The first week of October was very crowded this year compared to years past. First week of F & W, First week of MNSSHP and the end of free dining!

I was also there on October 26th at MK and I would have to say that most of the day wasn't bad as far as crowds and waiting but at night, WHOA!!! Where did everyone come from? It was unreal the amount of people for spectro and the fireworks. YOU COULDN"T MOVE!!!!! Now I expected a crowd, but not quite like that. Oh and on a side note.......went to sea world on the 25th and it was VERY crowded, in fact we missed the petsahoy show twice because it was full and the shamu show was so crowded we had to stand!! Now I don't know if that was due to Hurricane WIlma, but I did notice ALOT of florida tags in the parking lot at the resort. On the other hand, went to sea world on saturday, and it wasn't crowded at all. Does anyone else notice that crowds aren't that bad on saturdays?

We were also there the last week of October. The only crowds we experienced were on the weekend...but even then it was very manageable. Went to MNSSHP on 10/27 and as previously posted, it was not crowded at all. The only time I felt people were a little too close for comfort was in the evening @ World Showcase (due to Illuminations and F&W Festival). Our stategy is to sleep in a little later so we don't hit the food court, transportation, or the parks right when they open. It's amazing what a difference that makes as far as waiting in lines. Also, with the threat of hurricanes, I don't think I'd ever schedule anything earlier in the month (unless I was driving and had the flexibility to change my arrival date as needed).
