@ClaraOswald Here’s a picture from the hotel. Notice the little squiggly gray lines that block off the circle.
I found myself saying this a lot last trip! Once you experience the greatness of the magic band at WDW, you cannot help but miss it opening gates and doors. I wonder if this will ever happen at DLR!I wish they would let us use our MagicBand+ as a room key…. that would make it less annoying.
I can say it's so much easier to spend money when you just tap tap tap away and deal with the shock of what you spent later. I would love to see data if allowing magicband payments ups customers spending. I know many use digital wallets etc but I still feel like it's not nearly as easy and carefree.I found myself saying this a lot last trip! Dave Ramsey actually talked Magic Bands once. He discussed how disconnecting the purchasing decision from money with a Magic Band is genius on Disney's part and expenditures go up. Added to that, Disney frequently doesn't put prices on items which again, disconnects the decision about price and makes it be about the positive "emotional experience" of purchasing.I can say it's so much easier to spend money when you just tap tap tap away and deal with the shock of what you spent later. Or their way of scamming us with secret surge/dynamic pricing.Disney frequently doesn't put prices on items which again, disconnects the decision about price and makes it be about the positive "emotional experience" of purchasing.
You’ve already asked this before.

But then I’d have to leave Trader Sam’s still decorated for Christmas! At Hearthstone they give you complimentary nuts (so salty and greasy and delicious) and olives marinated in tangerine and peppers.
We always love the charcuterie pizza.

I've personally had many instances of no price on items- clothing, accessories, etc. Watch any merchandise YouTube video and you will see missing prices frequently too.Where are prices not listed at Disney? They're on everything that I can think of. Some items like pins don't have a price on the package but it's clearly shown on the display case. I do recognize that using a Magic Band to charge things to your room may make it easier for those of us without restraint (ie; Dave Ramsey's target audience) to spend more than they otherwise would.

Can you be more specific about which merchandise YouTube videos are showing missing prices? You're referring to Disney Parks worldwide and not just Disneyland in California. Is that correct?I've personally had many instances of no price on items- clothing, accessories, etc. Watch any merchandise YouTube video and you will see missing prices frequently too.
Come to think of it I have seen this. I now remember thinking well it must be too expensive then.I can confirm you will find tags (usually clothing) with no price listed on the scan tag. (Even can watch online vlogging you will get “must be free” comment looking through the stores merch.
Yes, this is being used more and more. It is dynamic pricing and allows them to adjust the prices easily without having to re-tag each item.Back when I remember sometimes prices being tagged with just a color then you had to find the sign that said what color was what price.
