What was the last Movie

I guess the most recent was The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, 1948, which was just on tv within the last week or two. Before that, several of the holiday movies already mentioned above. On the Waterfront was on a few days ago, but that is from 1954 so ineligible!

Now you have me wondering what the earliest movie I really enjoy is. I know there were a lot from the early 1930’s, but what about before that?

MY 11 year old daughter loves Bringing Up Baby. The last one we watched was either The Bishop's Wife or Christmas in Connecticut.

I often watch the Walt Disney animated classics from that period so I would say Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937-The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad 1949.

Miracle on 34th Street.
And just before that Heaven knows Mr. Allison( though it is 1957)
And before that Strangers on a Train, but again after '50. 1951

I absolutely LOVE old movies. We don't have cable right now so I am sorely missing TCM right now :)

you watched that was made before 1950 ?

Bringing up baby 1938

I just watched it tonight, I actually just become hip to how funny Cary Grant was, and I watch any movie of his I see

New Year's Day TCM was running a bunch of classic comedies including Bringing Up Baby. I didn't see that (have seen it before) but did see one of my favorites, His Girl Friday with Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell.

I love old movies, and most times would easily say "It's a Wonderful Life" if asked at this time of year! - But I was away on Christmas Eve and didn't watch it like I usually would, so I'm not sure what the last one I saw was .

Probably Gone With the Wind and that was a couple of years ago.

Bringing Up Baby is one of my favorites! I've seen it so many times I've lost count. That and His Girl Friday are my 2 favorite Cary Grant movies. I can't remember the last pre-1950 movie I watched, but I watch White Christmas every year during the holiday season, can we count that? I just looked it up and it was released in 1954, I think that's close enough.
