What was the first rated "R" movie you ever saw?

Officer and a Gentleman. I was will a couple girl friends and we weren't 17 yet, 16 1/2, but they let us in anyway. I remember telling my parents that it was a really good movie, which it was, and then they went to see it. I was SO embarrassed.

I'm sorry, but he is just so sexy...
Don't worry. I am sure if he saw me, he would really just see this: :maleficen since his girlfriend is a Chanel model (who is beautiful but has one NASTY set of teeth!

OK, so is Poltergeist R or not?? Amazon says it is. Otherwise I have to rethink the original question.

Poltergeist was PG. I knew it had to be because my father took me to see the movie, and my parents didn't allow us to see R movies. I checked Blockbuster.com to be sure, and it is PG.

The first PG13 movie I saw was "Death Becomes Her" - I wasn't 13 yet, so I felt like the coolest kid in the world. The first R rated movie I snuck into (I paid, I just wasn't of age ;) I think I flirted with the ticket guy or something) was "Varsity Blues." The first R rated movie I remember seeing anywhere was "Ruthless People" because it was on at my friend's house when I was 5 or something. I dont' remember any of it and I think the R rated stuff was WAY too over my head at that point.

My friends and I snuck into our first R-rated movie when we were 13. We saw Cruel Intentions. To this day it remains one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen but at the time we thought we were so cool for seeing it :p

Good soundtrack though ;)

"Once is Not Enough", I was 15 (1975). Ironically it was a theater in Times Square in New York while I was there on a church trip! Our chaparone wasn't much older (maybe early 20's) and took us to it! That trip was also the first time I saw a Playgirl type magazine. That trip opened my eyes, alot of the kids got involved in "unholy" activities. One 16 year old girl was sleeping with her male chaparone (again, early 20's), her room mates could not get into the room! Years later she married him. A bunch got caught drinking in the basement of the hotel. We also went to Wildwood, a girl on the bus home whispered to me that she hopes she didn't get pregnant from a guy she met there! :earseek:

Little Darlings with Kristie McNichol, Matt Dillon and Tatum O'Neal. My Mom took me to see it for my 13th birthday.

It was Fast Times at Ridgemont High!! Ha! Too funny remembering that. Looking back, I was probably rather clueless about some things going on it that movie.

I saw plenty of them at home on tv but the first one I saw in the theater with my friends was The Lost Boys back in 87. I was 12

I think it was Jaws, I must have been 9 or 10. I remember waiting on line for over an hour waiting to get in.

ETA
I saw the Godfather at the Drive In, so it's whichever one came out first
