What was the first concert you went to?

I went to see Adam and the Ants at the Apollo Theatre in Manchester.
I was about 14 at the time, myself and a group of friends dressed up in our frilly shirts and pantaloons and painted a white stripe across our faces

me too although it was the apollo in glasgow i saw them at, i was 14 it was fab. my cousin took me and we were dressed in frilly shirts pantaloons and face paints, my goodness what a sight we were but the bees knees at the time!!

Now I am jealous. I was really into them when I was younger, and Prince Charming was the first album I ever bought (with my birthday money as I remember)
First concert for me was much later when I went to see Bon Jovi in Germany in about 1992. Me and DW got sat on some sort of scaffold structure along with 6 other people, about 10 metres from the stage. We were up higher than everyone else so had a fantastic, sat down view of the whole show. (DW still swears to this day the Jon looked her straight in the eyes )

First concert I saw was Hazel O'Connor.

The support band was a new band from Birmingham who were just about to release their first single called 'Planet Earth' - yes it was Duran-Duran

I was lucky enough to be at the Nelson Mandela concert at Wembley in about 1990 and then quickly followed by MC Hammer, Madonna, Cher, Janet Jackson and Celine Dion (x 2) all in London.

Mine was East 17 at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham, I was so in love with them, mom Mom took me and I think she enjoyed it!! I went to see them quite a bit.

I was also a Brosette, but I was too young to go to the concert when they were about, but Matt Goss was a support act for Mariah Carey when I saw her in 2003! I was so excited!!

I saw Backstreet Boys to but at the MEN for the Millenium tour. They were amazing.

I saw the Millennium tour too! And last May I saw them in their Unbreakable tour, they were still fantastic as a four piece!!

I would have loved to have seen NKOTB the first time around but I was only 8! Saw them in Jan and they were FANTASTIC!!! (hence my sig pic!!)

It was the millenium tour I saw at Manchester as well lol

My first concert was Lynyrd Skynyrd, Todd Rundgren at Knebworth in 1976. I was 15 and sloped off with my older mates.
Only phoned my folks when we were half way there to say I would be gone for a couple of days

It was absolutely mad with 120,000 people

Grounded for a month but it was worth it

I think my brother went to this one.

Mine was The Alarm at The Ritzy in Cardiff, we probably saw them at least 25 times afterwards. I have good and bad memories, the good a bouncer grabbing holding of my feet because he thought I was going to fall off the balcony at St Davids Hall, the bad I can't hear very well, my doctor blames it on my having stood next to the amps and speakers too many times at their concerts, so on meets of I am constantly saying pardon or excuse me you know why, I constantly accuse Ian of muttering!!
